What's the name of the app you are using that shows the towers??

I did but I can't find the maps that show what LTE towers have been turned on, any help??

So doing some thinking and analyzing the maps...

 

148/252 sites completed for a 58% completed, 14 LTE site lives (more than 3 times the total wimax protected sites on the island)... at this point

 

The rest of the non completed sites are on metro area and the east of the island around fajardo and some on the center of the island.

 

West side is missing Mayaguez, Sabana Grande(Where I live ) and a few more...

 

Robert: I'm seeing a pattern here with rooftop sites, in Mayaguez 5 of 6 sites are Rooftop, 1 in Aguadilla, 1 in Sabana Grande, and a lot of the metro area also are rooftop. They seem to left them to be the last because of the difficulty on installing them? They seems to be easier to do a rooftop, but isn't only antenna that where talking, there also cabinets and a lot of stuff.

 

I remember when I worked with a subcontractor installing satellite internet on all the public schools around the island, that we left for last the schools that were harder to do the job or we need a special equipment. Some sites were only 3 or 4 hours to completed and others took me a week.

Are all towers in PR going to get upgraded to LTE ? Are we supposed to get LTE in 800mhz?

I've tried to connect to that Gurabo tower and I've had no luck, maybe they did block it, same thing goes for for the one around Route 66 in Carolina.

To use Sensorly mapping feature do this When you go driving around hit the "map it" button at the right hand side and then on the next screen just hit start.

Are all of you that are finding LTE using Sensorly to map the LTE location? This would help us all

Has anybody been able to locate any Additional LTE sites besides the ones in Bayamon, Carolina, Caguas, Yabucoa and Hato Rey??? Or has anybody noticed improved LTE coverage in this areas?

I have been by the airport a couple of times with no LTE, same situation on route 66. Yesterday in Caguas I had to power on and off in order to get LTE with my Note II.

Drived around Caguas today quite a bit, mapped all of the driving with Sensorly. A lot of 4G LTE in Caguas, top speed was around 20MB lowest test was about 5MB. It's gonna be great once we get this all over the island.

Yes it's amazing! Sprints version runs great and has very little bloat ware. Everything is very smooth and battery life is amazing. I'm also testing AT&Ts and T-Mobiles version, AT&T's has amazingly stupid amount of bloatware, Tmos has some lag its weird but it has to be something with the OS. I had a chance to play with Sprints Optimus G it's pretty cool but the fact that at this point a phone is being released with ICS it's just silly and they have a bad track record with updates. AT&Ts also suffer from the same problem. Just my 2 cents

What PRL are you guys using??

So basically what digiblur says is that we should update to the latest PRL ending in xx009 and we should get LtE if its available? Anything in particular we have to do to get LtE? Besides the PRL I'm using a Note 2

Initial launch devices ran out last week, they revived more this week.

What PRL are you guys using with the Note? Where in Carolina have you gotten LtE.

I got a Note 2 yesterday I loaded digiblurs xx76 PRL I went to an area in Carolina that has confirmed LTE I powered on and off turned off mobile data and nothing I got full bars but 0 data. Can somebody please give me any ideas?

You can install a PRL right on your device without QPST on the GS3 and Note 2.

I have downloaded it from two different sources and I ain't been able to flash it... The phone auto reboot when I hit PRL write button and doesn't apply it ... If someone has any tips to share, please let me know...
