  1. In Mars you should have the better phone. Note 2 is one of the better phone in the market. Don't a mistake. Youtube, reading, features, pen, battery, ram, processor, accesories. In every aspect, note 2 is a very good and balance phone. I think is the better phone on Sprint (my wife said that if you have the opportunity to buy the iPhone and you doesn't you do not deserve the right to live in this world. OPINIONS!)

But everybody has the right to choose the better phone for their needs. Trip to Mars are very long so I think you must have the best phone available.

jajajajaja well let your wife know that I also own two iPhone 5's, the Note 2 is my backup phone or testing phone if you will. So I guess I have a chance to still live on this world.

Sprint’s all-new network brings power, speed and value to more customers

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), December 18, 2012 - Today, Sprint (NYSE:S) announced that it is delivering the speed, power and value of its all-new 4G LTE network to customers in six new areas. Customers can use Sprint 4G LTE to send holiday pictures, upload funny home videos, and check social networking sites for friend updates on holiday traditions all faster than ever before on their Sprint devices. Beginning today, customers in the following cities/counties can access 4G LTE service from Sprint:

    • Indianapolis/Carmel, Ind.
    • Santa Rosa/Petaluma, Calif.
    • Vallejo/Fairfield, Calif.
    • Southern Puerto Rico (including Ponce, Coamo and Guayama)
    • York/Hanover, Pa.
    • Franklin County, Pa.
    • Sprint also enhanced 4G LTE coverage around Shenandoah County, Va., and introduced 4G LTE to the neighboring Page County, Va.

“Just in time for the holidays, we are bringing 4G LTE to even more Sprint customers,” said Bob Azzi, senior vice president-Network, Sprint. “We strive to deliver a top-notch network experience, and customers in these newly launched areas will see 4G LTE service get better and better in the weeks and months ahead to reach even more places where they live, work and play. Customers should find Sprint 4G LTE consistent, reliable and fast.”

A strong, robust wireless network is increasingly important as wireless users want to access emails quickly, upload photos/videos to friends and family, and routinely check in with social networks – all on their smartphone. Customers in several new areas will be able to use their smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S® III, Samsung Galaxy Victory™ 4G LTE or HTC EVO™ 4G LTE to share a picture, download a video, or check the Web with greater speed.

When you combine the power of 4G LTE with an Everything Data plan with Any Mobile, AnytimeSM, which includes unlimited Web, texting and calling to and from any mobile in America while on the Sprint Network, Sprint becomes the best choice in wireless.

Sprint’s network buildout, known as Network Vision, not only brings 4G LTE but should also give 3G customers better wireless signal strength, in-building coverage, and fewer dropped/blocked calls. These 3G improvements are already available to customers in several cities across the country, such as Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C. All Sprint 3G customers in these areas, including the company’s prepaid customers on Assurance Wireless, Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile, can expect to see better coverage, improved network reliability and voice quality once the improvements come to their areas.

Sprint introduced its all-new 4G LTE network in July 2012 and now offers service in 49 marketsi. 3. A friend of mine that lives in Fontana Towers in Carolina right on the main highway called me this morning to tell me Sprint workers were there unloading some boxes that said Sprint, Samsung and LTE. He asked them and they said they were updating the system and installing new equipment today. I Belive this antenna covers the area of Monserate Ave and Plaza Carolina. This sighting abd the one yeaterday in Isla Verde confirms that work has started in Carolina area.Ill keep you posted with new info.

  4. This morning as I was leaving Panaderia España in Isla Verde, I noticed a few blocks down on that same street there was a Sprint crew unloading equipment onto a site that's on top of a business located right before the bridge. Hopefully we should start seeing more work done in Carolina. Where the coverage is totally non working.

This was a rumor. Open invested their own cash on their LTE network, they might use the same equipment as Verizon (either phones or antennae equipment) but that rumor is false. Verizon cant come to the island for a few more years, part of the agreement they had when they sold their assets to Claro.

I'm sorry to tell you this is not a rumor. Verizon paid for Opens LTE network. And they are requiring Open a handful of customers on postpaid plans before the do anything else here.

  6. Well cost wise they are comparable, at least in PR and well they're not the only unlimited carrier, I'm not saying I don't appreciate the work done, It's just that sprint is so behind not only in the island but nation wide and the only upperhand they had was unlimited data and by the time our contracts expire maybe more carriers other than sprint and tmobile will have unlimited as well. I still think the overhaul of the network at least in the isalnd was long overdue... Or Im I the only one that for a long time has been promised by customer support that something was being done to fix dropped calls and snail pace data and nothing happed util now?... Sorry if offended some of the forum members but the truth is the truth and sometimes it hurts but you'll live...

Something was being done and it was called WiMax to fix slow data, but Sprint decided to go another route and started the network vision project. As far as customer service goes in all companies you call yo complain they tell you something is being done and nothing ever happens, here we have a 100% network overhaul. And BELIVE me when I tell you, your contract will be up and and AT&T and Verizon (that will be here next year) will still be metering their data plans.
