  1. Nah this was the tower I pick up when I'm at work near market and telephone by the dmv. For whatever reason I had no data but signal check said I did. As soon as I left and headed down telephone my phone picked up data from another tower, for whatever reason I just couldn't get it at my work. I'll see what happens tomorrow.
  2. Yea I tried airplane mode, updating my prl, turning the phone off and on, changing from cdma /lte to just cdma and I won't pick up data... I guess I'll see what happens when I leave work in an hour and move to another area...
  3. Can someone more knowledgeable than me help me to understand why my signal check shows lte but I have no data? Is it a tower problem or a problem with my phone?
  4. LTE is now back at my work as of today (Eastman and market in ventura) it had been down since the day it showed up...
  5. I figured that if it wasn't the site that it had to be close, because my reception is through the roof when I go to UPS.
  6. Well its the first time this particular tower has been lit up, I haven't seen it anywhere else nearby yet, but maybe I'm not in the right areas. I spend days here and lunches usually out and about on main street from telephone down to the fairgrounds. I live at Johnson and telephone is wood bridge and even though I've seen some mapped on sensorly on Johnson I've never successfully picked it up. That being said the LTE I had picked up about 10:30 am is now gone and I'm back to 3G. I don't know for sure but I always thought this particular tower was on palma next door to UPS, but I don't know that for sure...
  7. First taste of 4G for Ventura today, it lit up on my phone about ten mins ago. I'm at the corner of market and telephone road.
  8. I would say highly doubtful anytime soon if ever. Says they will expand to 100 cities over the next three years.... That's not very much at all. They also in all likelihood will only launch it in dense urban areas, the new York boroughs, downtown LA, places like that. It wouldn't do us much good here as we're pretty spread out in the this market.
  9. Absolutely correct. I've had an evo, and an evo 3d and there was no wimax in Oxnard or Ventura except that one site off vineyard, where conveniently no one lives or travels...
  10. Today's developments, another port Hueneme site.
  11. So I'm pretty excited to see that lte is popping up around Ventura and Oxnard now, but does anyone know when we can expect 800? I live at the corner of Johnson and telephone in the Woodbridge condos and reception just doesn't exist there. Is 800 coming later as opposed to at the same time as lte?
  12. Yes, I have been dealing with for a few months at work. I'll lose data altogether for hours at a time. Over the last week my phone has stopped reporting ehrpd and gone back to saying just 3G, today I didn't even have 3G, just 1x all day...
  13. Well, I tried to o map the lte I had picked up this morning in poet Hueneme on my drive home, but as quick as it arrived, it was gone again. I'll keep my eyes peeled for its return.
  14. That's where I am too... I work at Eastman and market a few hundred yards from the dmv.
  15. Just picked up lte on my way to work going through port Hueneme. Got it from channel islands and Ventura road all the way down to the Mandalay shopping center.
  16. Ventura never got wimax, neither did Camarillo, Oxnard, thousand Oaks or Westlake. There was/is one random site at the edge of Oxnard that got wimax but it covered a portion of El Rio and didn't go to the other side of the 101.
  17. Well, I am very nearby this "full build" that squigey had posted pictures of, but after waiting a few weeks I have realized that there is either some type of delay, or the schedule was moved around possibly because nothing has happened here and that crew has left the area now... oh well, the waiting game continues for the North LA market.
  18. Oh squigey!! My white knight, my bearer of the greatest news Ive ever read!! I work in Ventura and live in Oxnard and noticed at work today that my usual full bars of reception had turned to roaming. I work at Telephone and Market street in ventura and usually connect to a tower behind Target. Having 4G (even fuctional 3G) hope, feels like hitting the lottery!!
