I never thought this day would come. So does this mean that ALL of Elk Grove is NV 3G accepted or only a certain area?

Can't wait for Sacramento and Elk Grove sites to get accepted. It is odd, however, that I used to get LTE in West Sac and the Pocket area but haven't been able to connect for over a month (on my iphone5). What happened to LTE in those areas?

Where is south sac are people getting fast speeds? I have an iphone 5 and haven't picked up any LTE in months.

I was driving on the freeway and saw a blue lift being lowered. The antennas looked new to me. Will try to take some pics soon.

I just saw a crew working on a tower next to highway 99 and by Sheldon Rd. Is there Sprint equipment there?

Yes, it's the ghetto. The test I ran was actually at 3pm in the afternoon AND indoors.

I was in south sac yesterday, neighborhood by Mack Rd and Franklin Blvd, and decided to run a speed test. I pulled some if the fastest speeds ever (http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/i/703399412). I know there are some Sprint/Clearwire towers close by but they don't look new. Any insight/idea how this can be?

I actually picked up LTE in south sacramento, by Mack Rd and Franklin. I have seen crews installing new antennas off of i5 and Meadowview. :-)

Related to the screen shot, are you all aware if the "Easter egg" with the ookla app?

I noticed crews working on an antenna east of i5 just by the Meadowview/Pocket exit. Is that a Sprint antenna?

If you're referring to the evergreen tree tower, there is no work being performed there today. I didn't check the tower inside Laguna West community. I'll try to snap some pics if I see any work being done.

That's very encouraging to hear. I was thinking of jumping ship to tmobile because of the speeds I've seen on their phones. I suppose I will wait it out and give sprint a chance to keep my business.

I live in 95757 and frequent 95823. I still have another 10 months left on my contract. Will Sprint have LTE up and working by then (both areas had WiMAX)?
