  1. Actually it would explain the delay of the G2 so far behind other carriers. Could also explain the delay in Spark support for Spark Enabled devices, if they are the same way. You wouldn't want to say a device supported spark out of the box if you knew these issues existed.
  2. No, that is something else. http://www.qualcomm.com/chipsets/izat
  3. It's ok. I had actually emailed the developer when I first got mine because I was having the same problem.
  4. Looks like you need to enable cellular/mobile location services in your device's Settings menu. See here: http://www.bluelinepc.com/signalcheck/help/#nodata
  5. Sim slot. No micro SD for the us versions.
  6. If you read through this thread you will see that all of us with G2s are having LTE connection issues. We believe this to be an issue with the APN file, and allegedly a fix will be issued on launch day (11/8).
  7. Can someone who got their phone today (not a pre-release) verify that their software build is JDQ39B.
  8. Mine comes and goes. I can't be sure but it seems to be based on location. It will connect to some LTE sites, and not others. PRL shouldn't affect LTE. It is handled by the SIM card.
  9. And now the waiting game for a software update to fix LTE connectivity begins.
  10. It's because SRM is sponsored by the manufacturers, and not Sprint. The manufactures (rightly so) assume that if you have the phone you are more likely to sell that model over a competitors model.
  11. National Retail doesn't get acces to the SRM site AFAIK.
  12. Good to hear. I have the same question(s) out to my LG rep as well. Hopefully he will have a similar answer.
  13. FYI I can now confirm the G2 Does Not use the sim card for CDMA authorization.
  14. He means it was only 22k devices that were stolen.
  15. Don't worry, it will be worth the wait.
  16. You install an app from the market called Sensorly, it maps and submits the info.
  17. Probably means they sold out of their allocation of preorders for the black. Here is what has been mapped in Gonzales, LA so far. http://sensorly.com/map/4G/US/USA/Sprint/lte_310sprint#q=gonzalez, la
  18. Specs mean nothing to the average phone buyer. They don't care what processor it has, how much RAM, or s super high resolution. The target consumer for the Mega is one that only really cares about screen size. Not to mention it will retail for less than the Note 2, I think it will be pretty successful.
  19. The average amount. Most of it can be removed without rooting.
  20. A little birdie told me there was just a technical error with the map, and it would begin showing updates tomorrow.
  21. You can only really see it when the screen is off and held at a certain angle.
