  1. Public Beta.

I haven't caught mine doing that at all. Just had a few times where my ringer stops working even though my phone is on loud but I've had that issue ever since I got my 6.

I didn't do a clean install of the beta and I only have those couple issues.

I'd say back it up, restore and then try it again and see if it's better.

  2. Anyone been noticing any weird behavior with their keyboard? My a key stops working intermittently. I have to tap on it a good dozen or so times before it registers and then I only get a few a's. Pretty weird since the screen works and responds how it should. Just the keyboard is giving me that little issue.

  3. I think to fix the mute switch you have to go back to that beta and then switch it to mute and then go to whichever software you want after that.

I don't think the beta had the feedback app in it iirc. Just the public betas.

Good to hear they're replacing them for being bent. Prolly set an appt for sometime this weekend to have them look at it.

  4. That's strange. That app comes with the public beta profile. I even had it on 8.4 before upgrading.

I still have mine. Right in my extras folder where I left it.

That's why I'll always be an Apple customer. You can't get that kind of service from anyone else. My wife's phone was running hot, and battery life sucked...boom, new phone.

I keep thinking about switching back to android. Can't quite figure out which phone it would be but this is one of the main reasons holding me back from making the jump. I love the support that the company has for it's products and it's consumers.
  5. They may replace the phone. I had my phone replaced the other day for a camera out of place.

I had mine replaced shortly after I got it for that reason too. Just don't wanna have to go through the whole "you damaged it you pay for it" crap with them." I've always had my phone in a case. No reason why this should have happened.
  6. So my iPhone is definitely bent. I can feel the screen in the bottom right corner is coming out of the body of the phone due to this. It's not a big deal but I do hear it kinda click when using it sometimes. Is this something Apple would replace or would I just be wasting my time going to the store with it?

Also I don't mind the left search screen. Shows me News stories and what not I normally wouldn't see so I've found it at least somewhat useful.

  7. Or what would be cool is if when you get the "20% remaining" pop-up, there is an option other than just "Okay" that says "Enable Low Power Mode?". That would be interesting to see.

Wording I see as an easy fix. To add a whole other toggle or toggle system is a little more work. Something I think Apple should have done a long time ago....
  8. My one request that I have for iOS 9 is that they add a low power mode toggle to the control center. Just having the notification pop up and then having to go digging for it if I decline at the time is more work than need be.

Or just give the user control as far as what they want their toggles to be...

  9. Well then it doesn't surprise me that the two of you aren't impressed, because I wouldn't be either. You basically have a non-cellular capable 4 inch iPhone 4s. Kinda hard to run an OS created in 2015 on a processor that came out in 2011. :)

Had I known it was quite that bad I would have just paid to have the battery replaced in the older one. Grrr. Damn you Apple.

  10. For the wifi issue try clearing your network settings through settings and then reset. You'll lose all of your saved wifi passwords so be aware of that. It's helped me with weird connection issues a few time though.

Public beta 1 is running pretty good on my phone so far. I think the reason why they have iCloud turned off is in case you had to go back to signed software you didn't have a backup of software you could no longer use as your most recent backup. ( read it slow. It makes sense I swear. Lol. )

I'd rather have a for sure backup on my iTunes over that anyways.
