I am doing HDR mode on the iPhone 6 and it sure doesn't look like HDR. Am I doing something wrong? These photos were taken with HDR auto. I've turned it from auto to on with the same results.

Forgot to mention. One photo is HDR. One is normal. I can't tell the difference.

  2. I live outside the city limits, so when my tower goes out like it does every now and then I have no service or poor roaming service. But last time it went out it connected to 1x800 with a great signal but would not stay connected. It kept jumping from 1x800 to roaming to no service. I seem to only connect to 1x800 in extreme circumstances and even then it will not stay on it will jump around. This phone acts like its allergic to 1x800 lol.

  3. Take the case off, get a clip and some paper or something(so you won't break it) and clamp it. If you don't do it immediately it'll be there permanently.

The clip kept slipping off. Pretty sure its too late by now. I'll email the seller again and see if he will replace it since his instructions were to just "leave it alone and it will go away in a few days".
  4. I got the Amzer tempered glass and its doing this thing on the bottom. egegyses.jpg

I emailed them and they told me to wait a few days and they will go away.

  5. how does bluetooth interfere with lte, how would you even know it?

the one wierd thing I have noticed with my last couple phones is that whenever my phone bluetooth connects to my car, my radar detector goes crazy until I power cycle it.

  6. New baseband blows the others away in mature markets, but if your in a market that is not, an older baseband might be for you, just glad we have that option with this phone.

I agree, its been great in the San Antonio area. I can use voice AND data everywhere, is this what it feels like to be an AT&T or Verizon subscriber? [emoji12]

  7. I am waiting on the OTA.

Can anyone with the update tell me if the update fixes the problem where the phone does not ring on incoming calls?

Just yesterday my N5 showed I had 2 bars and was displaying LTE. I dial myself, LTE turns into "R" and the phone does not ring. Missed 2 calls yesterday because of this bug.

No, mine doesn't ring in certain areas of town when on LTE. I've had my phone replaced and it still does it.

  8. Whatttt. I didn't know there was a notification. How do I fix that >.>

Download Google voice and set it up to use for voicemail (you don't need a gv #). Then there a check box within gv that says "view and display voice mails from the phone call log". Now you can get VM notifications and listen to your VM without ever opening up gv.

  9. Been parked on B41 all afternoon/evening. Left the house at 4 been at work since. I have no complaints on the data side. I do however do not get calls on LTE in certain areas of town (San Antonio). I had my phone swapped which did not fix the problem. Kinda frustrating.

  10. Anybody on the far west to northwest of San Antonio not getting calls while connected to LTE? I live nearby Culebra and Gas road by the national shooting complex and I have had to disable LTE so that I can receive calls and texts.

If I go to other areas of town it seems to work fine.

  11. Couldn't hurt to try. It may fix the issue and would let you get LTE calls and text with no worries until the new one came in

Tried switching back and Sprint gave me some error message on their web page. I'll try again tomorrow. For now I'm on the EVO but it is definitely no Nexus.

One thing I noticed is this phone is constantly on 1x800 where my nexus never was.

  12. Did you have them put a dummy phone on your account and put your n5 back on? That could of fixed it. Did on another phone I had.

No, I just put my EVO on for the meantime. Should I switch them again?

No, my sprint # and gv # are still separate. I use them both.
