How is LG with their current LG Optimus G and G PRO?? Are they updated these phones? Or are these phones still on their original software version?

Damn this looks like my dream phone! Wow. LG pulled out all the stops!

In my Note 2, I have 64GB micro-SD...and I have at least 6-8 movies on there for slow times at work! I will be buying my next phone on contract...so, I need a battery solution that will last at least 2 years. Like I said, I abuse my battery tremendously because I am a demanding user which means no battery will last a day with me. I always need a charge or two or three during the day, even with my Note 2. iPhone 5 also needs 1-2 charges to make it thru the day with me. With each charge, it is more like a boost charge because it never sits long enough to get a full charge. With me doing that, I don't think a fixed battery will survive 2 years with reasonable life.

My only worry about this phone is the supposedly under-spec of the hardware. This is supposedly the mid-level phone in some articles? 720 screen. S4 Pro or worst processor. 4.3-4.5 screen. I don't mind the smaller screen...I kinda like it. But, Android ain't the most efficient OS around...it needs lots of horsepower to make things run smoothly! No matter the amount of smoothing done by Motorola, the upcoming features (4.2.2 notoriously run bad on low spec phones) of future software updates will kill this low-end processor! Apple OS can be smoothly run on a low spec phone...Android is not that way. And what about high-end GPU-intensive games (like Modern Combat or Real Racing)? These games will make this X phone into a butt joke! I hope that I am wrong...because I always like Motorola for their cell signal.

Thanks! Unfortunately, it looks like no SD card slot and likely no removable battery either. 32GB internal memory. Not a deal breaker, but I prefer having SD (for my movies) and I abuse my battery a lot...so, I like to have a removable battery.

I am betting that the first tri-band LTE compatible super phone will be the LG Optimus G2 with the S800 processor. GS4 LTE Advanced won't make it over here. We may see it in next year's GS5. The only Samsung that will be compatible with tri-band LTE will be Note 3. Those are my predictions.

Unlike original G where one location/country/carrier got it first and another months later, LG promises that everyone will get G2 at the same time. It is rumored that G2 will be introduced on Aug 7. I see no reason why Sprint would not carry it. Lets hope that it will be tri-band compatible!

Screen size 5"-5.5", probably LCD type...hopefully Gorilla Glass 3 2. Thin as hell...button on the BACK of the phone 3. S800 chip...this is THE chip of 2013! 4. No stylus 5. 13MP camera in the back...probably similar to LG Optimus Pro...hopefully improved optics The BIG question is whether it is tri-band LTE compatible...i am praying that it is since it has S800 chip (same as Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE Advanced)...shame on LG if not!!

GS4 LTE Advanced is too far ahead for USA. ATT and Verizon are probably upgrading LTE towers to Advanced later this year in few select areas...and that is still up in the air. Sprint is still behind ATT and Verizon on the current LTE...we probably won't see Advanced LTE towers until mid-2014 at earliest i would imagine. Sprint bringing LTE Advanced phone this early is probably not worth it for anyone...and may piss off current S4 owners, which may result in mass returns of current GS4 (for those still in window for returns). I THINK our only hope of getting a S800 phone is via LG Optimus G2. Sprint is a carrier for LG Optimus G...so, Sprint should carry G2. In addition, LG promises that G2 will be released worldwide at the same time...so, Sprint should carry it almost immediately once announced. (Even if GS4 LTE Advanced is release in USA, ATT and, probably, Verizon will get it way before Sprint...we're the bastard stepchild!) And LG promises LG G2 will be released sometime this summer...so, after reading above, i think that G2 is my best option at getting a S800 phone. The other option is waiting for Galaxy Note 3, which may come with S800 or Exynos 5 Octa. The problem for me is that Note 3 will likely be slightly bigger than Note 2, which i have currently. My Note 2 is kinda too big for my taste...so, Note 3 will likely be too big for me, even if it stays the same size. For me, 4.7-5.0 is max screen size.

Yeah, if GS4 LTE Advanced comes with this monster chip PLUS tri-band LTE support, then just tell me where to sign up!! My upgrade is in 10 days...so, come on Sprint, give me something to lust after! BTW, GS4 LTE Advanced may be announced tomorrow at Samsung party in London.

Yup, very excited about this phone...and praying that it comes to Sprint with tri-band LTE support!! If rumor is true, then this thing is a monster...Qualcomm S800 chip! Considering that GS4 is semi-water resistant and shock proof, and now S800 with next gen LTE support, this is the phone to get for 2013! Well, according to rumor, GS4 LTE Advanced is being launch THIS month in South Korea. Apparently, it will have S800 chip along with expanded (speedier) LTE service. Hopefully, Sprint will get it (if it is even compatible). I can only hope. On a separate note, HTC Butterfly S will be launch in 2 days...and is rumored to be on Sprint for sure. Will it support tri-band??

My guess is that it is actually a Note 3 being tested... maybe under the cover of GS4?

New member here...been a Sprint customer for over 12 years consecutive! Anyway, like everyone, I am waiting for Tri-band LTE phones. (It is a rather thorough PREVIEW of the GS4A, as if they had their hands on it with actual testing! No other review site has this much info.) Anyways, does this mean that Active supports tri-band? I know that Sprint tri-band LTE is 800, 1900, and 2500 (??). I don't see 2500 being listed.
