  1. http://www.antennasearch.com/sitestart.asp?sourcepagename=antennachecktowerreview&getpagename=pgtowerdetail_faa&cmdrequest=getpage&ipos=1&faa_study_number=2004-AWP-5536-OE I'm pretty sure this is the sprint tower signal that I'm getting. It's a stealth site as you said it's actually a giant cross in front of the church, and based off of the tower information is owned by Ubiquitel, which was purchased by sprint back in 2006. As I mentioned, I've always had really good Sprint coverage around here even during peak times (typically 1 meg minimum). The one thing that I've noticed a drastic improvement on lately has been the latency usually being in the 70-100ms range. Being that this is probably never going to be a Network Vision site that will be upgraded any time soon, does that also mean that I won't get LTE coverage for a long time as a result? I'm not sure how stealth sites play into network vision, but if that's true I'd be pretty sad (even though I use WIFI at home, it'd be nice to have for when I"m out and about in the neighborhood walking the dog.
  2. Shepherd and Maple here. Have always had pretty decent speeds and signal here, this is off-peak but regardless. These speeds are pretty good for sprint 3g anywhere in Fresno.
  3. Wow you are a beast! Sadly the two cities that I actually live in (Fresno and Stockton) don't seem to keep their building permit records online. I'm really dying to find out if they've been applied/approved yet, but I'm hoping that all this progress in the surrounding areas means that things are progessing quickly everywhere and the only hold up would be the cities themselves. I know Fresno was left out of the Wimax coverage, but I never got a reasonable answer as to why (not that it matters now).
  4. There's seems to be some differences in how the building permits are categorized I believe. I'm not very familiar with contracting and building permits, so please excuse my ignorance. For example I didn't see a category for non building permit, and unfortunately theres no keyword search on the Clovis website. Also, any idea on how accurate NetMonitor's maps are for tower location? They seem to differ in geographical location from what I see on Sprint Network Vision expansion maps. I'll keep my eyes peeled here in Stockton for any work or strange coverage.... daytime data speeds have been atrocious along with latency upwards of 2000ms over a number of towers. I know Stockton has a relatively small number of Sprint towers, but it's been getting progressively worse. I can't tell if it's because of network overload or work being done.
  5. I'm also from Fresno, but currently living in Stockton. Doesn't look like either Fresno or Stockton have records online, but Clovis seems to. I just don't know what I'm looking for haha. http://cap.ci.clovis.ca.us/CAP/Site/Permit/Search Hopefully you guys are better at it than I am. It seems like the Central valley is this big giant gaping hole of Sprint LTE. Considering the amount of agricultural business and how many people pass through, you'd think that they'd be on it faster. :-(
