  1. I tried to see the distance on the site downtown. And see if it would hand off to any others. So when the downtown site is fully turned on its already mapped. It is getting great speeds. Even though I was the only one on it hahah

well im at the Ymca so I was on it a while this morning....and the statement you made about the Southeast sector being the fastest on that site by the Rose Garden was accurate. Going north and east from that tower had speeds between 4-16mbps but going southeast I hit 30 mbps down several times. Right there on Houston and Broadway the speeds were excellent
  2. From what I can tell there are only 2 or 3 active sites all near the live site. 2 in testing mode and need a hand off and active data to keep it. I see a pattern of slowly moving from the center outwards towards the loop and such. And at night I only see one rru with a light on. Could be changing real soon though!

I see someone mapped a large portion going out on S. Broadway and going down Beckham turning into Troup Highway....Nice work
  3. Remember, bars DO NOT show 4G signal levels (except for iPhone).

Since you have a Note 2, you will need to either go into the Engineering screens (dial ##DEBUG# and enter 777642 ), or download the SignalCheck app.

It sounds like you had a very very weak LTE signal, which is why speeds were so slow. Most likely still from the one site that is currently active.

ok but that site that is active is pretty far from where I was
  4. yeah right by john tyler I pick up a new site, but it is only in that area. It is coming from the site on 64 west and the loop. Testing mode I think. And the site downtown is 3g/4g accepted I think

ok I was over on the west end of Garden Valley in front of Boulter middle school and barely pick up 4g but horrible speeds so I guess its coming from that site on 64 that may be in testing mode because I had 4 to 5 bars
  5. Been waiting quite a while to mark that one actually.

Great! I was happy to go out and be the one who mapped it. I've been waiting to do that. I've been on S4GRU about a year and a half and ive stayed up to date with cities in Texas and cities around me and stayed up to date with my city with the latest updates. I can really appreciate the guys who put in countless hours and hard work to help make everybody's 4G dreams come true lol....thanks guys

  6. Ohh I wouldn't say Athen's has been launched. They only have one tower online, which would explain the poor poor speeds. I'm sure speeds in Tyler will decline a bit when people notice they have 4G ;)

oh ok didn't know it was only 1 tower but I guess the speeds and coverage confirms that and yea speeds will decline here im sure. I've updated my Facebook friends about our 4g status
  7. I can see it on sensorly for android as of 11:08 pm.

what I was able to map. There's more 4g data to be mapped but this was all I had time for. These speeds and coverage were far superior to what I got in Athens a week ago and Athens,Tx has been launched for months. Very Impressive Sprint. Tyler shouldn't take long to get full coverage. Im guessing Tyler is officially in "pre-launch" status??
