Yes, after re-eading it i see you are probably correct. Nevertheless, i love the lte speeds. Not as fast as what i see out of ATT and Verizon, but plenty fast. Everyone is going to be very satisfied once widespread deployment is finalized. Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

have you used it? near as i can tell from your innumerable posts you've never had lte appear on your device. my experience, as someone who uses it literally every night, is that the speeds are tremendous.

likely due to the device and proximity to the tower. If you notice a few pages back on the couple of speed tests I ran a week or so ago on my Optimus G, I never had ping over 83ms. I will run some more tonight and upload the results.

cool thread. Unfortunately his estimate was off by a bit, but seeing the 4G speeds at my house makes me real optimistic about the rest of Denver. My 3G is bouncing in and out of connectivity again today, that makes a third day that I am having this problem. Hopefully it's a good sign.

This is the referenced tower downtown across from McDonalds on 16th and Cleveland. It's the only thing in the area that matches the description tritron gave me. just went and looked and there is not much visible at 16 and Court. Is it possible that the tower is on top of a building?

3G is bouncing in and out again downtown today. I have dropped the signal 4 or 5 times already this morning. I am headed out to try and find the cell tower on 16 and Court, although I suspect it will be where I can't see it.

I am going to head out at lunch today to see if I can get some pictures of towers downtown. 3g seems more stable today, so it may have well been something else, but I will definitely check it out.

Unfortunately I will have to do it another day. We are a bit too busy for that today, I will see what I can chase down tomorrow.

Something is going on downtown today. My 3G has been bouncing in and out all day and usually I never drop 3g down here. It is certainly weak in places, but it always stays connected.

agreed, luckily I don't use much data at home. I'm at work more often than not. I'm keeping comcast nonetheless, while the LTE speeds are tempting, they don't match the 25-35 down/11-17 up I get.

I didn't even realize it had connected. I had encountered issues with connecting earlier and figured they had taken the tower down. I had set a book on audible to download over 3g and was told it would take about 6-7 hours, it finished in about 15 minutes without my knowing it. The only reason I realized that it was done was that my phone started playing the book! My only disappointment is I only get 4G upstairs in my house, but since that is where our bedroom is and where all electronics will be, I am more than happy with it. Almost makes me want to cancel Comcast and just use phones for WiFi
