  1. good thinking. For some reason ##3282# is not working on my Nexus 5. Other thoughts? **EDIT** Nevermind, I found it. It's *#*#3282#*#* on the N5 if anyone cares.
  2. yeah, I saw some guys there the other day. Brighton actually has pretty decent coverage east of about 6th, this would make the west side of town so much better.
  3. it is definitely reasonable to expect that someone who has been posting in that forum multiple times a week basically since the thread was started wouldn't have to ask questions in regards to topics that are actively being discussed. Again, I have not seen you in this particular forum so I'm giving you the benefit of not having been exposed to her/him before, but spend five minutes and look at the individuals history before deciding that the rest of us are unreasonable. I assure you, she/he has been as actively involved in this thread as anyone else has from day one and has had every bit of information available to him that the rest of us do. She/he insists on asking what essentially amounts to the exact same question every week.
  4. so since I haven't seen you in this particular forum before, I will assume that you have not seen the numerous posts that this individual has made asking the same things over, and over, and over. To their credit, the inquiries have been less repetitive over the last 4 weeks or so, but what we have here is the classic Boy who cried wolf scenario.
  5. Personally I REALLY hope this is true. I realize it would suck for a lot of Sprint customers, but let's be real honest about this, how awesome would that be? I'm going to start asking all the farmers around me with towers on their land if they are getting late payments from the provider and if, by some act of the immaculate, they would let me knock those towers over with a tractor. This story has given hope to all grown men hoping to appease their inner adolescent.
  6. This has been going on downtown for quite some time. On any given day a site could be EVDO or eHRPD. My phone bounces between the two all day every day.
  7. I had seen that and guess just missed the band 41 at the bottom. If this is the Nexus 5 and pricing is at all similar to Nexus 4 pricing, I am upgrading my phone early. I will sell my current Optimus G and just upgrade off contract. Of course, it it's priced more similarly to the Moto X then there is no chance I will upgrade for some time yet.
  8. To this point, from what I have seen thus far it appears that the Nexus 5 will be tri-band, am I correct in making this statement?
  9. I just moved north from the 80015 area code. Voice coverage is great, but don't expect great things as far as data coverage goes. 3g speeds rarely get to 1 Mbps, 4G in my experience has been non-existent. While I don't live down there, I still visit folks down there fairly regularly. I would say that I get as many hits as most people in this forum, with a few hits of 4G that nobody else seems to be getting, and I have never even had a slight flicker of 4G in that area of town. If it's network speeds you are concerned about, Spring may not be your best option for a while yet.
  10. I will hopefully soon, I just have literally had no extra scratch lately! That's what having a baby, and buying a house within a month of each other do to your finances...
  11. Radio Silence on the forum for a week! Anything to report? Anyone? Anywhere?
  12. what kind of signal are you getting? I get a decent signal at my house and consistently it's between 7.5-15 mb, but typically sits right at 10. My signal strength is usually around -100 dBm. This is with the exact same phone as you have. I will also say that I have noticed that the speeds definitely fluctuate. I have seen slower speeds than what I am used to with a better signal, so there may be some question as to the quality of the signal as well affecting your speeds.
  13. The problem is I don't think you are trying to learn as much as you are hoping someone will give you answers, and to date I have not seen you contribute to the community. If you have posted pictures, or speed tests or something, I certainly have not seen it.
  14. so for the impatient CO Springs guy, I got another hit in the springs last night. I mapped in Sensorly. I got a hit at Voyager and Briargate and then later at Voyager and InterQuest.
  15. I can get it in one corner of my building and think I can see the tower way in the distance from the window. I'm 18 floors up, but if I stand in that corner I know I will get 4G. I do it almost every day. I have started leaving my phone over there and tethering my tablet it is that reliable for me. Interestingly, I can't get on the 16th floor or 20th in the exact same spot, the signal seems to hit JUST 17-19.
  16. Sprint 3G speeds have always been more like EDGE speeds, but yes I agree it's been slower than usual.
  17. So I have been reliably connected to 4G downtown today since 10:00. Speeds are averaging between 2500-6500 down
  18. Wow, that's a seriously impressive reach. That could explain my hits downtown quite easily.
  19. More hits downtown. Mapped in Sensorly and speed tests uploading to the Box folder earlier in the thread as long as signal strength. Speeds were quite good this time, topped out around 7000 kbps down and 3000 up
  20. Funny you should mention it. Just drove it yesterday on my way home from Utah and did not get a single hit anywhere along 25 heading into Denver. Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
