  1. if you want to map wifi, thats up to you. that option just allows you to map where free wifi is at. we are just curious where to find the 4G's. basically just open app, select map trip, start, and commute. stop it when you park. simple. even a cave man can do it
  2. ha thats funny. you were taking up all the bandwidth with all your tests lol
  3. The Euclid and 22 site has fallen on it's face tonight. I'm only getting a Max of 4mbps down. Still not complaining at all. Beats the 12kbps average we been dealing with for past 8 months
  4. Gah can't believe it's baseball season already. In other news, I dunno about everyone else but when I use sensorly online I don't see a lot of the area I feel should already be mapped out. I zoomed all the way in on the map and all the mapped areas appeared. So if you wanna see where 4g is truly, just zoom way in.
  5. i believe there is a tower over there signed off with lte. i was just in that area doing a drop off at amtrak and the 3g wasnt all to bad. didnt do a test. totally forgot.
  6. Heres how to determine your actual 4G LTE signal strength. http://s4gru.com/ind...ignal-strength/ and the app we all use to map 4g for android phones. apple products are sol https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sensorly.viewer&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDMsImNvbS5zZW5zb3JseS52aWV3ZXIiXQ..
  7. say what?!?! i consistently pull 11-17mbps down. highest so far is 17.8mbps down 5.58 up latency of 36. Thats from the tower at euclid and 22. in fact, this morning in my drive way i ran a test just cause 4g is much loved, i pulled 17.09 down 5.52 up. sorry I lied, heres test on the on ramp:
  8. sweet!!! wonder if that signal is still coming from the 22/euclid tower...i keep forgetting to see how far it goes since i have my phone connected to the appradio 2 and just set sensorly to mapping when i leave the house.
  9. tried mapping as much as i could this weekend. nothings showing up on sensorly. maybe we over worked them eh got one dot in where i live lol.
  10. Got home to find this beautiful symbol of 4G. Love you long time sprint!!! LOL just pulled 17 down.
  11. Lakeview and 91 was off all of last week. But hopefully it stays on for good.
  12. just looked on sensorly and there is a super faint spot of LTE at disneyland.
  13. Agreed. Dunno whats going on. In comparison the site next to disneyland was first in OC that showed a sign off on LTE, yet nothing more than 1x speeds.
  14. The jelly bean update with sprints bloat app "connection optimizer" really did help the EVO switch radios better. The 4G airplane mode toggle used to be the only way to get phone to switch over. It still seems to be needed at times even after the update but a lot less frequently. First, I'd say do update if you havent already. Second, I'd do the airplane mode on/off sequence before claiming issues. And third, no there isnt really any area just yet with a consistent LTE signal. Though here off of Lakeview and the 91 a couple weeks ago the signal was on for a full week and some days. Its been off for a while now. If you want to play with LTE just do a little drive up to LA. A lot of signal coming from there.
  15. Sorry just checked this sites tower locations versus what I saw. The tower at Tustin Ranch Rd and the 5 was the tower being worked on. Big blue cherry picker. The tower in the bushes is definitely not sprint. Though it has a couple large containers adjacent to it now.
  16. Lte on harbor drive. mapping it now.
  17. Lakeview is off today. Sucks. But since I'm on my way to San Diego I noticed a crew working at tower at jam!boree and the 5 freeway. And last week they were at the tower in that field just west off the 5 north of the 133. Love seeing all the work going on. Hoping to see more today. Now back to driving before I get a ticket LOL
  18. Thats weird. I too am here at our new office on Lakeview and La Palma; no LTE!!! We moved in yesterday officially and youre teasing me with your sightings LOL.
  19. Yep total tease here in yorba Linda. Still excited though especially finding out that work has been going on here in oc and just not making announcement deadlines. Was really beginning to wonder what was going on. Thanks Robert for all that you do!
  20. nice. i think we double teamed on sensorly for that area today lol. ill do more mapping tomorrow. im so stoked!!! first tower to show upgrades was near old office by ball and state college. now first tower to broadcast LTE is by new office. HAPPY DANCE!!!!
