  1. Went to the sprint store in eastvale off the 15 freeway on limonite and noticed sprint spark on the display phone of the LG g flex. Ran speed tests and it was getting between 15-30mbps down and 2-10mbps up
  2. It's weird because there is already LTE emitting from the tower on jurupa and live oak since November of 2013. And the 3G and LTE isn't as good anymore as it was in December-January. It use to be LTE 4-7mbps down and the 3G was 1-2mbps down but now the 3G is back to super slow and I can't even get 1 Mbps on LTE. Maybe they are still working on the tower or something. Hopefully they finish soon because I'm still having the failed calls and texts problem
  3. I've been having problems with the service here in south ridge Fontana at the crossroads of live oak and walmac and throughout the entire neighborhood. I have an iphone 5 and where the sprint branding is on the status bar it's been showing extended with 1 bar. My calls and texts won't go through. I keep getting call failed and I get voicemails but I never received the call. It's not just my iphone it's on my moms and brothers iPhone 5c as well. This has never happened before so I'm wondering if anyone knows what's happening or if anyone else is experiencing the same problems?
  4. I couldn't figure out how to upload photos on this site sorry about that. The tower has two small antennas per sector and does not have any RRU's behind them. There were workers working on the tower for about a week about last May, almost a year ago but ever since they worked on it the 3G went from decent .30-.80down to terrible .00-.30 down. And nothing has changed since. And like the someone above said usually all towers by freeways will get LTE but this tower is smaller then every other sprint tower I have seen and has six small antennas instead of 3 large ones.
  5. Does anyone know if the tower in jurupa(riverside) on the cross streets of camino real and granite hill drive on a little hill next to the giant elephant/mammoth by the jurupa cultural center will get 4g LTE? Because that tower looks different then the rest. It does not have three long panels. Instead it has 6 smaller panels? I saw workers on it way back in April so I'm not sure
  6. Did anyone else get this text from sprint? "SprintFreeMsg: Over the next month, the new network will be largely completed in your area. See new phone offer at http://sprint.us/upgrade1 Reply S to stop." Hopefully we see some more LTE turning on and those 3G clusters as well.
  7. So it is the tower across the freeway. I went into the tillys and the target and I was getting full bars of LTE and I was getting between 2-8 Mbps down and 1-3 Mbps up
  8. I'm getting 4G LTE here in eastvale! I'm in the Taco Bell across the street from the shopping center on limonite. Did some speed tests and I was getting ping from 30-70 and 1-4mbps down and about 1 up I know there is a tower across on the other side of the freeway but I'm not sure if that's the tower that is emitting the 4g LTE signal
  9. Just our luck. No wonder why Fontana Moreno Valley and San Bernardino and all other surrounding cities have gotten LTE & Riverside is still a deadzone. Hopefully they get things rolling so we can at least get some decent 3G here. Fingers crossed.
  10. I was asking the same thing. Robert said "for some reason they have to leave up legacy in the riverside/San Bernardino area" does that mean the 3G here is gunna stay the same old .00-30 Mbps down?
  11. The tower that I get signal from is the one off of cherry and jurupa ave. (south Fontana) you are on the other side of the freeway looks like the tower off cherry and arrow, around that general area.
  12. What exactly is band 41? Is that another term for sprint spark? And what streets in San Bernardino were you getting those insanely fast speeds? I live in Fontana and there is a tower about a mile away from me on cherry and I get 1-2 bars with 1-7mbps down and about 1up
  13. I only receive LTE when I'm outside. Once I step into a building it switches to terrible 3G. There are also panels on top of jack brown. Are those sprint's too?
  14. So I got 4G LTE today at my school here at Cal State University Of San Bernardino.i know there is a tower on campus but I've been around the entire campus and there is no tower. All there is are single panels on a couple of buildings. It's not mapped on sensorly and unfortunately I have an iphone 5. Did a couple speed tests: Test 1: 6.23down .98up Test 2: 5.47down 1.62up Test 3: 5.95down 1.16up
  15. Yeah the tower is right next to a freeway so they are probably using narrow beams antennas. Thanks for the info and everyone who contributed as well. I've used sprint 4G LTE where it's available and it's pretty fast. I don't want to switch carrier because sprints new network seems promising and really fast. Thank you everyone!
  16. Thank you everyone for the help! Learned a lot of useful information. I have one more question. My buddy lives about half a mile away from a tower here in riverside and the signal in his house is awful. When I'm there I get 1-2 bars and data speeds are terrible. I usually get .00-.10down and up. There are three antennas on the nearest tower but none are pointed in the direction where he lives. Do the antennas emit signal in only the direction it's pointed in or does it have a certain amount of degrees in which it emits signal? I know some of you know this at the top of your heads so please keep the rude and awful comments to yourself please. Just a loyal sprint customer trying to gain some insight about towers and signal strength.
  17. Why is it that most of sprints towers here in the riverside/San Bernardino market only have 3 panels on them? I noticed that there are bars for more room to put more panels. I think this why LTE here is so weak and Why hasn't sprint added more panels to their towers? Will they add them in the future? Because Verizon and AT&T have between 6-9 panels on their towers.
  18. Maybe, but I use this site to see all the upgrades done to towers and also the locations of the towers as well: https://network.sprint.com/CA/Riverside/
  19. Yeah the tower on felspar behind the stater bros near van buren and jurupa has great 3G speeds. I was driving past the jack in the box and I was getting between 1-2 Mbps down and around 1 up .
  20. That's quite far from clay . That must be a really strong signal tower
  21. I'm trying to figure out from what tower too. It has to be the tower near the mcdonalds on van buren or the tower near the bank off camino real and limonite.
  22. Looks like there has been two purple dots mapped in Mira loma? One on limonite and van buren and the other off bell grave and van buren. Where is that LTE coming from? Has a tower turned on LTE and we don't know it?
  23. Looks like the tower where the 10 and the 215 intersect on the Colton side flipped the switch with it's LTE. I passed by there and I got full 5 bars of LTE on my home from school. I have an iphone so I couldn't map it. If anyone has an android and is driving on the freeway there please map it
