  1. My main issue with this changing of the guard towards no contract/no subsidies is that(as you said before) it will kill the used phone market on ebay. I will no longer be able to buy cheap off contract phones as replacements/upgrades.
  2. Did you try posting it on those websites with the slickdeals or framilycodes or whatever.
  3. Right, but you have to pay full retail on it and its not yours for 2 years. I can't just sell it on eBay when I am done with it and buy another phone on eBay. I hate this. Why can't they just keep it how it has always been. And that doesn't answer the biggest part of my question. I am torn between switching now and paying $5/mo more and losing my upgrades or waiting to see whats going on with my upgrades and missing out on the $45 in waived fees per month.
  4. Can any of you who work for Sprint comment on what will happen to the folks who are on ED1500 or similar plans who have upgrades in April-June? Will we lose these upgrades? I am completely opposed to financing a phone. I want ownership of my phone. I want to sell it when I am done with it, not be forced to give it up and not be credited for the amount paid into it.
  5. Wednesday(1/15)-Tuesday(1/21) Sorry I just realized that it has been a week since my last update. Too many video games I guess. Highlights: First 800CDMA site. 4G- 307/773-39.7% 3G/4G- 167/773-21.6% 3G- 112/773-14.4% 3G/800- 1/773-.001% NV Complete-587/773-76%
  6. http://fox2now.com/2014/01/14/police-return-to-scene-of-elderly-woman-found-frozen/ Anyone see the RRU's? I was in this driveway a couple months ago when they installed the site. Crazy.
  7. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't this one Flushing Meadows?
  8. Only time I have ever experienced no coverage outdoors is in rural Illinois out past Fosterburg and Brighton and north of there. And even then I roam on VZW and used to roam on USC. Indoors within Sprint Coverage areas the only time I don't service is inside the tin can of a wharehouse we have in Delhi, IL. In there I don't even get 1x unless I put my phone in the window in the office.
  9. I would expect to have voice coverage(at least 1x) everywhere. 3G data pretty much everywhere. LTE 1900 when the market is complete pretty much everywhere outdoors and indoors 50-50. LTE 800 should be a game changer though.
  10. Well, if it is still under warranty then Sprint should be able to swap is out.
  11. So this is a peculiar issue that I have been experiencing on my N5. It has only caused an issue so far when I got up and hour early for work a couple weeks ago. My phone switches ahead one hour. This has happened probably between 10 and 15 times. Right now I turned off the Network provided time until I can figure it out. Has anyone had this problem before or know why this could be happening?
  12. Anytime. I hate that Sprint did that. It is going to cause a lot of confusion.
  13. That one has not been 4G accepted. The closest one that is 4G accepted is just north of the Splash Pad, one in Shiloh and a few in Fairview. Sprints network maps show expected coverage at 100% 4G accepted. Right now Missouri Market is just shy of 60% 4G Complete. St. Clair County istelf is just shy of 80% 4G Complete. We have no notification of either of the other towers in O'fallon itself being worked on at this point. If you want, you can go to the site and take pictures of the equipment on the racks and at the base and we can tell you if it is the Sprint Network Vision equipment. For proper coverage maps(crowdsourced, mainly by us here at S4GRU) http://www.sensorly.com/map/4G/US/USA/Sprint/lte_310sprint
  14. You should definitely check out the Missouri Market thread.(Metro east is in MO Market). Let me know where you are and maybe I can help you.
  15. All maps are updated. Also, we are down to about 200 sites left. Please refer to this map for just non-accepted sites.
  16. Friday-Sunday....Still churning 'em out For those of you that remember way back when, they finally accepted the first "in progress" site in the market.
