wouldn't they have to issue the new devices with the updated radio bands and software? They're likely to benefit from RRPP since it's not typical roaming.
-
what about for sprints prepaid customers? Will they be left out ?RRPP coverage will be treated as native. As for Sprint building more coverage, it's certainly possible but we'll have to wait to know for sure.
I disagree. Every carrier is going to be IP connected for VoLTE eventually. That's the way the industry is moving.

do you at least have lte lol still most of my town doesn't have it and my area is still 3G and also the voice coverage has improved a bit...still no SMR voice or lteI hope so. Our site spacing is pretty terrible, at least in the suburbs that make up the majority of the city.

I had issue with sprint and I had to cancel my contact I have a LG volt and there is a triband lte tower in town...just one tower and the rest of the area is just 3g the lte coverage is just over exaggerated ...lolAh cool, you should be fine then. Why don't you switch over to Sprint and get a Spark phone? Or I believe Boost has some as well now.

i hope sprint can ink a deal with them. but also do you think sprint can expand its own foot print outside of its native cverage ?

Oh, so it is lead, not LED.
Along those same lines, did you eat a lot of paint chips when you were a kid? Just out of curiosity...
AJ
no lol i got stung to many times by bees when i was a kid

Well its lead coated and it got full service inside and i live in east brunswick new jersey where my service is ok at best and i m using boost mobile and i dont get lte....so its over estimated coverage but voice coverage has greatly improved and what's strange is that 1X has a higher dBm ratoo than evdo...that's strange....i ll let others chime in i m very curious...
Is he afraid superman is going to find him
Well it depends, if the site has WiMAX, there is a good chance it will also have LTE, so the signals should be same. Now for voice calling, unless the building is co-located with Sprint equipment, his calls will be routed to another tower.
Is that LED or OLED? Does he live inside a jumbotron?

and when i was connected to that triband tower i couldn't make phone calls...there was no ecfsb turned on on that tower...I'm not sure how much 800 will help in some areas where tower spacing seems to be the bigger issue. I still seem to drop calls in all the same areas even though the sites have been upgraded to 800 voice.

for example my area is surrounded by lte...but my house is in a 3g only area....so I have to wait until they deploy SMR lteThat's good to hear and I hope it spreads down Rt 1. They really need more sites in the area though if they want to take on the other carriers. There are too many weak spots.

Hello i have a question or two to ask...i have a family member Who lives right under a former clear wire site and i can verify this because i had a wimax s2...but question is when it gets converted over to sprint...will he get sprint service even though his apartment is led coated..

sprint in my area has band 41 deployments going on in my area but on one site and lte still doesnt reach my block and sprint should turn on smr already lol and also t mobiles 700 mhz license covers practically my entire state
T-Mobile has definitely started it's 700mhz deployment in the DC area. Found a new long panel on a T-Mobile only site. Couldn't get pics as I was driving but I'm sure this is what I saw

Pretty much!! There have been quite a few updates in the Central Jersey market over the last few weeks. What the market really needs though is expansion to cover new development as well as filling gaps. Unfortunately I don't see any of that so far. If I ever get my new iPhone from Sprint I'm hoping that it being tri band will help with coverage.
i agree with you i have boost mobile and there service is better but the lte service needs the smr deployed...

hey is this thread dead lol ?

i
That's correct. Three B41 carriers alone will create a 1Gbps demand. http://www.s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/687-Network-Vision-Site-Map---Michigan-Markets&do=findComment&comment=377429
i go to philly often and i have a lg volt for sprint prepaid and i cant wait to test them out there
