Anyone have a good rugged case with a decent built in screen prorrector? The one on the Otterbox Defender is decent other than the gap between thrle screen protector and screen, also getting dust under the screen.

I started using Spotify(GoldGloves music is pretty cool) on my note2 with out any issues and so far it sounds great on my G2. Although it seems to use less battery than Pandora imo but still beats my note2.

Ill have to see if that happens when i plug my phone into my car. But it dose sound like higj pitched screeches( i couldnt think of a word to describe it)

Anyone had issues with headphones? Every now and again it will have a high pitched chirp like its either not plugged in good or not a good comnection. Ive turned it and unplugged and re pligged it in and still dose it, and i know its not the headphones they work fine with ipod and laptop(bose ie2). Edit: its not making the noise in Spotify so far but it did in Pandora.

Hmmmm i fixed stuff lol. I was in my car idleing(cold at 2k rpm still trying to fix) and radio on 2 or 3 volume and to me it was quiet. I have nit tried it with out in enabled. It may be a bug/glitch. I know my note2 had a button during a call so if it was noisy you can make the ear peice louder when needed although i used it most of the time it was nice to have. Anyone else who has the crackling ear peice see if turning on the voice enhancement fixes it and any notice in the volume of the call?

I know the note2 had a button that could make the volume higher but i have yet to find it on my g2. But there is a option in the settings called Voice Enhancement, it says it changes the in call volume in nosiey enviorments, i wonder if it makes it quieter than normal. Who knows lol.

Anyone coming from a note 2 to this g2? To me my ear peice seems low volume, even turned up. Other than that i love this phone, exept my otterbox's screen protector.

I get a solid day of battery and i bet if i didnt play with this beast so much (im still in the new toy faze haha) i could get 2 days of battery life. Yesterday i was off work so my battery was awesome i still had 50% plus at end of day before i played with it to kill ot down. When i work i get about 30% left with 2hr30min screen on time but being in a metal building for 6 or so hours kills my battery no matter what.

When i got my G2 i bought a Defender case, it says its dust proof but i have dust under the screen protector. I might get a sg maxx to try it but im hoping Trident comes out with a Kraken case for the G2. I loved my droid x2 with the Kraken had zero problems and the phone never got dust in the case. Thanks for the reply, one thing that makes the sg maxx neat to me is the user replaceable screen protector so when it gets scratched.

Just curious, anyone else have a Otterbix Defender? If so do you get dust under the top half/quarter of the screen protector? Thats one of two things i dislike about the case. Also has anyone tried.the Trident Ageis or the Ballistic sg maxx? Other than that its better than my note 2, only think i have to get use to is typing but i think its more the space between Defender screen protector and the actual screen.

Yesterday morning mine said 288 hours and 58 minutes of expected usage. But so far im on my 3rd day with the phone. So far it seems to have better battery than my note 2.One thing i have noticed is the auto brightness seems to not work properly no matter what you set it too. I like mine to crank it to 100% when outside but when im inside it seems to not want to got to a lower setting. I have read that putting thr slide down from 100% to 99% and its sapose to work a little better but i csnt really tell. Anyone else have this issue?

That makes since. When you open your stock messaging app after you update it should ask then just click wich one you wany then chose always, like any other android app ( i.e. gallery vs photo veiwer on my g2 i just clicked gallery then always and done). Atleast thats what im thinking.

I love the lg sms messenger, i have not used hang out so i can say my opinion on that. I guess we will see when another phone gets 4.4 and see what happens.

So when we get the 4.4 update i can keep the lg messaging app? Im trying to explain this to my father inlaw to be. So far he loves his g2 vs his iphone but its each to there own.

One question in Android 4.4 as far as Hangouts replacing the messenger, will it change it on a phone that already has a messiging app(default)? Or will it give is a option to use one or the other

I see that now, just wondering if theres a way to just turn it on or off not on off for a second then strobe then truely off. I used tesla led on my gnote 2. Also when going to camcorder is there away to keep it in the 1080p 60fps mode so i dont have to keep changing tbat when i open it? Thanks so far i absolutly love this phone ????

Guy off craigslist he wanted 400 but when he meet me his cars radiator hose busted so i fixed and and he said since i saved him a good bit of money he would let me have it for 250. But on another note has anyone used the stock(or lg) flashlight widget. It seems to work, turns led on but when you click it to turn it off it will turn off for a split second then turn right back on? Just want to see if anyone also dose this.

Well i bit into itand bought a brand new g2 for 250 and so far its way better than my old gnote 2. Just need to stop hitting the home button when i try to hit space. Lol

Well everyone I have a dumb question per say. Would a average user notice triband in a daily basis? Also is the g2 better ag getting signal in metal buildings? Thanks looking forwad to joining the g2 family once I cab get one.

Well im tempted to go but a g2, seems like it has betfer signal that a note 2 and battery life( atleast a stock note 2) now I just have to get the 600 or so to buy one :/ along with a otterbox case. Well anyone want a note 2 with a zerolemon? Haha
