You know what would be nice? Using the old Nextel towers on a much greater scale. Time for Hesse to make that happen.
I was thinking the exact same thing. It would be awesome if they could do that. One can wish.

Depends entirely on site density and topography and etc. 2500 mhz is worse than 1900 mhz but modern technology such as the radio heads sprint is using can help out a lot.
It won't be equal to pcs or aws but it'll be significantly better than the clear implementation and come close to pcs in markets with high cell site density as in less than 1-2 miles between each cell site.

Okay thanks. I was just curious because where I live there are a lot of trees and mountains that could effect the signal. I guess I will see when it happens.

Permits for 8T8R deployments have been popping up in places outside of that as well.
Speaking of 8T8R, since the frequency is higher, the signal won't travel as far correct? If that is the case, how would they cover the same footprint compared to 1900Mhz? Wouldn't they need more towers?

After seeing this, I think this event was to say "hey, we are still here and we are working hard to make our network better and offer great service." I think most people would take that as boring and how they don't have anything. I mean, Sprint announced 28 more 4G markets today, that is also good news.

I just wish they would cover everything Nextel used to cover. I spent all day yesterday in a spot covered only by Alltel and decommissioned (but still standing) Nextel sites.
I would be so happy if they did that too and I think that would actually be a good way to help use the 2.5 Ghz band

Agreed. The price is awesome! But that international plan is pricey. They could at least include the texting for free and charge $10/mo for the calling. I'd also like to see cheaper roaming rates in certain countries, like Canada.

I think having cheaper roaming rates would be awesome, I wonder if they could work out a deal to have free roaming in all of North America. I know that would never happen but that would be cool and I believe that would attract a lot of new customers.

I'm starting to get a little antsy about the debt load TMUS brings to the table here...
$40 Billion just blows my mind. That is a crazy amount, though Masa and Softbank should be able to handle it.
