You guys are still complaining over that, at least Impulse added some useful information to his post. If you can understand it then just simply skip over the post; that simple. I on the other hand, and other members including themuffinmam, can actually fully understand what he says. D-Relo shortens his words and his grammer is a bit off, but it is not that hard to understand; give it a rest. Nobody is perfect. I also woke up with no service, but it came back around 7am.

Well, my signal have been going from 0 to 2 bars a lot(though I can still use data most of the time), but my service is fine at the moment. My speeds are kinda slow at the moment though

My 3G speeds are great though, way better than before NV; just that my service overall is unstable.

There's was a small outage this morning by the way, and I've noticed that my signal has been constantly unstable even when there's not outage going on. I would drop from 4-3 bars, to 2-1 bars, then 0 bars(though I tend to still get data at 0 bars); then there's also the dropping calls and 3G to 1X switching. I wonder if certain parts of the island get less issues than the rest.

This thread would go great with popcorn . Anyways, I agree with themuffinman, St.Thomas has a lot of issues; and that's why I'm in such a hurry to go back to the states. Besides the horrible local government (I never seen so many crooked cops and senators stealing tax dollars in one area) and bad in fracture (What the hell is wrong with WAPPA(the electricity company), their unreliable and is constantly shutting down and restarting current; like a little kid playing with a light switch.), their is also a lot of issues on the citizen level(we have a higher killing rate than most states, that is sad on so many levels) like broken English (it even spreads to educated people like me, meaning that I do use some "St.Thomas words"), but I guess we can not blame them since you can't blame somebody for something they don't know. As the saying goes "if you knew better, you would do better", their broken English is just going down the generation. But let's get this thread back on topic, and stop trying to "nit pick" at people.

T-Mobile partnered(bought) metro PCS, not Att; there was controversy back in, I think 2011, about AT&T merging with T-Mobile but that was a long time ago. D- Relo you either need to get your ears checked out or go kill your sources and throw it/him/she in the bushes because the info you hear on a frequent bases is wrong normally.

I'm in Smithbay, service came back on it's own. I wasnt agreeing with him that the main source is in PR, I meant that it will have main source and it will be shared to the other towers, and not every tower will be its' ownn main source.

Kinda sounds like what egonadrian was saying just a couple difference, but it's nice to know. Btw guys, service have been gone since last night, at first it was switching between 1x and 3G for a hour or two starting at around 9:00pm, then I woke up with no service this morning and I just got it back at around 11:30pm.

Maybe if we sacrifice you, Sprint will give us LTE.

Any service that use Sprint service will get LTE service; is: boost or virgin mobile. CDMA phones and GSM networks are incompatible, visa versa, GSM phones and CDMA networks. If your One can take a sim card then it won't work on a CDMA network (Sprint, boost, virgin mobile, Verizon, etc), if it doesn't have a sim card slot then it cannot be used on GSM network (ATT, T-Mobile, etc).

An outage is coming, I can use data but can't make calls; the phones stays at dialing, it don't even start ringing.

My signal is flunctuating between 0 - 2 bars, when I normally get 3 - 4 bars; a outage might be coming. My speed test scores are messed up, it says I'm getting 196 ping, 0.68Mbps download, and 0.11 upload; smithbay close to cookie point. For some reason I still get 3G with 0 bars, been happening since the outages started.

Can I know about this?

How do we know st.Croix is getting turned on first? Is it listed by size(st.Croix) or importance(st.Thomas)?

The 24 hour outage has finished, exactly 24 hours; June 16 8:30am to June 17 8:30am. I'm starting to think the workers who work on the towers start 8:30am everyday.

A lot of outages today, any good news besides the outages making users want to commit suicide? The worse part is the outage ain't even a simple hour-long outage, these outages last 3+ hours...

Who should I kill first, the CEO of Sprint, the workers in the sprint store on st.Thomas, or the workers who work on the towers? >:|

Service finally came, been gone since morning; about 8 hours(6-7am to 1:30pm). Anybody got LTE yet?
