my 4g is so much improved I just use that instead. There is definitely something wonky with the radio, WiFi stops transferring data and I have to reconnect.

*#*#72786#*#*My N6 has suddenly lost all data/LTE connections.
Tried a factory reset to no avail.
Is there a way to re-provision it through the dial pad or do I need to call Sprint?
Any other suggestions would be cool too.
Thanks.
Mav.

mine failed to activate at first because it was trying to add premium data twice.I went to a Sprint Corporate store today to see a Nexus 6, and they had one on display. I must say, the screen doesn't seem to be to big for me. I asked if they had any in stock, and they had one. I told him I will take but I have a SERO account. He said that shouldn't be a problem and we might just need to call Telesales to have them add it to your account. Well he went through the normal process of getting it setup on my account and it appeared that to have passed that critical step of if we needed to call telesales, but for some reason it wouldn't let them add the Nexus 6 to my account with the 2 year upgrade. For grins. they grabbed a new Note 3 to see if it would accept it, and it would. The manager gave it a go, but was running into the same problems. She went in the back and I guess sent out an email to other managers in the area to figure out why it won't let them add this NEXUS 6 to an account. I mentioned the how I had heard to leave the last digit of the IMEI, but they said it isn't failing at the part where they add the IMEI. Not sure what exactly is the problem, but they said they will call me once they get if figured out. So I headed home without a Nexus 6 for now, but will give them a call a little later for an update.

I agree even with the same radio as the preview it hands off between bands and switches back to LTE much better.since moving to the 5.0 official the phone hangs on to LTE much better than it did on 4.4.4 even using the same radio.

roughly the same so far, hangs onto 41 better haven't had the time to do anything more than anecdotal. What about signal differences from the same site and serving cell via Signalcheck?

so far I'm seeing big speed gains over my 5 in the same locations. Like 22 Mbps were I was getting 7 before. That's what I'm waiting for. Motorola tends to do pretty good with RF, so I am hoping it is better, but I'm sure we will find out soon enough.

Just noticed that even though I have Wi-Fi off, in the battery data it appears on.
Can someone confirm that if you have Wi-Fi off it wouldn't appear on the battery data?
ya that will be the case if you have the location over WiFi checked

that could be a good point, I was having WiFi issues but I just shut it off unless I'm doing something big.Has anyone have problems with Wi-Fi in Lollipop? Wi-Fi access point that have been connected lose connection and a "authentication failure" message impedes an automatic reconnection to the access point. A manual connect or switching on/off Wi-Fi fixes it. Also I'm not seeing great battery life and I guess it's Wi-Fi related.
Anyone else with a similar experience?

ya since lollipop I went from 3hrs up to 4-5 hrs sot. It's improved for me, I had nearly 3 hours of on screen time at 58% battery earlier before I hooked up the charger.

every time or just the first time after flashing?Flashed the factory image last night. Wow this thing still has that issue where you have to update prl to get mms to download. Was hoping that would get patched up for the final release.

fastboot is the only way I'm aware of, but if you flash the pieces individually and skip the user data, and boot loader images you can keep data intact. Is there a way to install 5.0 directly by downloading to my phone and using TWRP to install? Or do I have to download to my computer and use Fast boot, etc?

haven't had it on long enough to say but no crazy drain so far.How is battery life on the newest L builds? Just curious because I might get myself a N5 soon.

no notification on latest L buildIf someone could fire up SignalCheck Pro and see if Alerts are sounding, I would appreciate it -- they were not working on the last preview. Please try both audio and vibrate.. many thanks!

maybe the radio is the same but I concur its better and more usable when combined with the new build, might finally get me off the .15 baseband.Placebo effect I guess. I checked the md5's of the radio images just to make sure they're exactly the same and they match, so it can't be the radio.
Unless you were running the first L preview radio and not the latest one?

that happened a bunch while towers were getting worked on, but hasn't been an issue lately. What about calls that simply never go to the phone? One of the reasons i moved one of my lines from sprint is that I would get a lot of calls going straight to voicemail. Have you seen issues where the phone won't hand off from LTE to CDMA? Thats the only thing I could think is the issue because my signal was usually good.

the edge is only getting released in Korealol true.
You all are whimps. Shamu too big? Oh Please, Shamu has nothing on the Mega, size wise. (insert deep cowboy voice here) Now that's a mans phone. lol
All joking aside, If i wasn't going for the Note Edge (whenever that damn thing comes out) I would probably (85%) have turned in my Mega for the Shamu. Even with it not having a sd card.
