  1. I know, I was hoping someone might be reading this thread who knows what the hold up is.
  2. This also begs the question - if hardware and backhaul are in place, why don't they turn it on?
  3. Hey John - I called Sprint everyday during the outage...at first they were telling me it was a "T1" issue so I figured they were adding some additional T1 capacity. Then they told me it was a "Software upgrade" issue. They didn't say as much, but I think it was the DO 1X Advanced software upgrade. The speeds have improved, but I think it is due to extra T1 capacity and software upgrade. The tower in Atlanta and Queen City both have new AT&T fiber run to the tower, but I do not believe the 3G is connected to it yet. I figure crews will show up and connect both 3G and 4G to it. And a side note - The tower in Atlanta has its sectors messed up. The Alpha (North) sector reports the SE location, the Beta (SE) sector reports the SW location and the Gamma (SW) sector is reporting the north location.
  4. I see a dot in Longview on Sensorly. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4
  5. Man, this thread just took an odd turn.....
  6. Although there was an article the newspaper the other day about site inspections. http://www.texarkanagazette.com/news/2013/08/08/skywalker-775998.php Kinda looks like Clearwire equipment.
  7. I see a tower in Longview is 4g accepted...while most of the towers in Texarkana are still legacy :-(
  8. I wonder if this is just an indication of a change of controlling software, or core/switch? Or could it indicate a change of equipment at the tower level?
  9. The 3g/4g accepted tower outside Marshall must be in donut mode. It's not broadcasting LTE.
  10. I saw two cabinets that looked just like this at a tower near me. They have been removed and two larger cabinets installed, so I'm guessing it's some legacy equipment cabinet.
  11. All towers between Atlanta and Texarkana are now NID 311 and all the BID numbers are different.
  12. Something strange this AM in Atlanta (TX). My NID changed from 5 to 311. I am also getting a new BID. Does this mean new equipment?
