  1. I had quite a few issues with the 6. Have not had a single issue with the 6s. All of the quality control issues that existed in the 6 have definitely been resolved with the 6s. No more front facing issues. Cell reception issues have been resolved. The only thing I've noticed in the past few weeks is that my touch ID has slowed down..or at least it seems to have. I probably just have gotten used to it and now I expect it to be faster.

All of the defaults that were in the 6 probably came because it was a whole new design it's to be expected. Apple probably didn't refine all the kinks with the 6 they did it with the 6s and 6s Plus. But I've never heard of anyone getting that many iPhone replacements. I've had my same iPhone 6 for a whole year now. I decided I'm gonna wait for the 7 simply because it doesn't make sense to get a 6S Plus right now and then 9 months later the new one will be out.

  2. I don't come by here as often as I used to because the site doesn't get map updates like they used to.

Lol I think it's because Sprint is finally basically fully saturated with LTE, at least here in NY. So people have stopped questioning and complaining about when they're gonna get it because they should have some form of LTE already. Whether it be B25/26 or 41.

This good to hear that everyone is doing good with their tech and what not, just checking up to see what was happening. Definitely getting the 6s Plus next month when they start restocking all models for the holidays. Can't wait!

  3. So I may be joining Sprint sooner than anticipated. I really like that promotion they got going on with trading in ny iPhone 6 and only paying $5.77 for the 6s and $60 unlimited.

I understand next week Friday it will go up to $70.

Is Sprint reliable in all 5 boroughs? I tried it for a few days but I was not able to go test it outside of Queens.

Sprints pretty reliable for me when I go to Queens it's always a constant LTE service, Brooklyns good I was there the other day, Manhattan is pretty well saturated in the parts and I go to and I don't be around Harlem or Staten Island or Bronx; but Bronx was the first to LTE as a general so they should be good,

And if you're getting the newest iPhone service is guaranteed to be better ,

  4. Sprint Rocks! After telling myself I was not going to upgrade to the 6s, I got the bug and decided to see what options I might have. I had done the 24 mo lease last year, and was not supposed to have an upgrade until next year. But I have been on Framily for over a year with the $20 unlimited data option that includes annual upgrades, but the iPhone lease program was excluded. I sent a DM on twitter to @sprintcare and after exchanging a few messages got a callback from a care rep. I was polite and did not make any threats, just expressed that in light of the new deals they were offering with the iPhone forever lease, I was wondering if there was any chance I could upgrade with that program. She said she would review my acct and get back to me. 15 min later I had a callback and my upgrade date got moved up to 9/1 and was already avaliable online. Just placed my order for the 6s on iPhone forever!

It never hurts to ask, the worst that could have happened is they would have said no, and I would have been fine and honored the rest of the deal I signed. But I am thrilled that they were willing to help me out. :)

Good old sprint customer service. I love it. That's one of the reasons my family has stayed with them, cause I know for a fact AT&T was never as understanding or friendly as sprint.

  5. Comes out Wednesday the 16th. I'm getting the message in my ipad.

Just updated to the GM version and the message has disappeared. I think I'm done with betas for a while lol. My phone was so weird the whole summer and it was annoying.

  6. Nothing about ram or battery. I'm assuming they're the same as last year, unless there's a spec somewhere to prove otherwise.

We're probably gonna have to wait until iFixIt completely dissects the phone before we know anything about ram. Apple hasn't said anything bout ram since they upgraded it like 3 years ago [emoji24]

  7. No mention of battery specs? According to this comparison, they're the same?

Did they even say anything about ram. I didn't get to watch the whole keynote cause I was on my way to school. I caught the end when he was talking about the 6s Live Photos.

  8. I actually felt the opposite. Paired with iOS 9, I think this is a monster "S" year. I'm thoroughly impressed with everything I saw today. I do agree on the redundancy. It's getting too predictable, and with the increasing number of leaks every year, the Apple event is more of just a confirmation than a surprise.

Exactly my point. I think if the leaks became less frequent and we knew less about what was going on with the next iPhone it would be more of an excitement. But seeing the keynote I knew about everything except the Live Photos thing. They need to do a better job with covering up what they're working on.

  9. I must say I'm a little bit disappointed with the upgrades for this year. It's not very major, and this whole S model year thing is getting redundant. I think they need to switch it up. Nobody likes seeing the same thing over and over again it's corny. I remember when I used to get excited for a new iPhone, now it's just like oh okay that's cool, what else?

  10. Heard Sprint is getting rid of the 2 year contract and I'm very sad. Lol I don't wanna have to pay monthly for my phone. That's extra money for what? And I think that whole rent the iPhone then give it back thing is stupid. People can make a lot of money selling their phones on the market afterwards.

  11. My phone has been acting funny after the beta 2 update. I know the most common is the gap between the top row of apps and the row of info at the top. That doesn't bother me as much because opening apps forces it to fix itself. Now I'm showing wifi and LTE both at the same time. I also have apps that randomly crash now and Bluetooth problems connecting to vehicles.

For the Sprint WiFi Thing just disconnect and reconnect to WiFi that usually fixes it

  12. I'm stuck! Remember in iOS 9 Beta 1 where Apple gave us that feature to switch the control of the mute switch like on the iPad? Well they took it away, it's been gone for the last 3 betas and unfortunately when I upgraded to beta 2 I had the switch set to change the orientation. Now I can't mute my phone [emoji29]. Idk what to do. You guys think apple will bring the feature back? I mean I don't think there was any reason for them to get rid of it in the first place.

  13. Battery Update: iOS 9 Beta 3

I've seen a great great improvement in battery life. It's better than when I first got the phone tbh. Here's a look. I didn't turn on Low Power Mode till 10% and still I managed almost 8 hours.

  14. Wow, you guys are having a lot of issues with Carrier Bundles and what not, maybe it's just me but my phone hasn't had any issue with switching bands or holding a signal. If anything the only thing I've noticed is crappy LTE speeds but that's only in certain places and I blame Sprint and their lack of B41 everywhere. Everything else has been cool and im on iOS 9 Beta 3 with Carrier bundle 20.6.7.
