Nevemind just caught up on the thread! Nice! Now everyone should keep mapping on during their commutes!
-
Cue the theme song from Rocky- can we get official confirmation that this is Orange County and not bleed over from LA?
-
Dang it! That's just... GRRRR!
Just kidding. Ok so we are waiting a little while longer...
-
I think if people start to simply map their commutes in OC it will start to flesh out the coverage. It's just one stripe on beach blvd going to below the 91 fwy. That is definitely Orange County.
If it was LA, why would it not show up until recently? It seems like LA coverage hasn't expanded at all for a while... Then this pops up...
-
The area's that look like OC look to be bleed over from LA county ie cerritos, La Mirada.
So you think Buena Park is its own OC tower?
-
I cant get out there- can anyone check it out?

Big new mapping on Clairmont Mesa Blvd. between 163 and the 15...

Well, pretty much requires getting out and doing some mapping or checking the cell IDs to pinpoint the tower.
I've got an iphone and its cant give sensorly the data it needs. Although it isjailbroken- is there an app that allows sensorly to map?

90 FWY- East of the 39- is that the first bit of LTE in the OC?!?
And I mean on Sensorly...

Once again' date=' thanks a lot for a quick reply. I do not have sprint yet, but I will be switching to it on the 27th due to expenses with other carriers. How can I know which areas have been upgraded/prepared for LTE and is just waiting to be launched? And according to the deployment page, San Diego is only at 15%, so we aren't too far behind. But sensorly doesn't show any active LTE in San Diego?[/quote']
Sensorly does show some active LTE in San Diego. The San Diego, IE and OC markets are literally being turned on and testing right now, gradually and slowly as towers are completed. Who knows- maybe by the 27th you will see LTE where you live.

Ian,
Here is hoping for Ladera, and you were right a few pages back, coverage has been poor in Ladera over the last little while. We were just short of Wimax (by a few miles before Clear stopped the rollout), hopefully they will move quickly in south OC this time.
Wayne
Hey Wayne- I'm in Ladera too! Yes- here's hoping for Ladera!

So those two sites in north Orange County should be running LTE for customers to connect to now or in the next few days, right?
-
There is a completed tower in Santee i think according to the member-only maps on here. Anyone seeing LTE out there?
-
Dude it was a joke. And no- I have an iphone.
-
Bookert- are you- are you mapping yet? You're not testing are you? Bookert?
-
Disneyland would be nice. Coverage there is ateocious...
-
Very nice! I see six separate blobs on San Diego now! Hopefully all these areas fill in. Sprint has got to love this- they should be mapping with sensorly too!
-
The new blip is in La Mesa- looks like someone needs to map that area!
-
Another blip of LTE in the southern part of San Diego area... and a little more showed up in Carlsbad!

Yes. We have maps of all the completed NV sites in the Sponsor section. They are updated weekly.

Which ones are the ones closest to getting LTE? Or is it just any NV completed tower is ready?
-
Yes, it should be soon. There are already 4G accepted sites Orange County. The delay is probably core related. Once everything is ready, those accepted sites will probably go live first. And then we will likely see a steady progression of LTE sites go live every week. Inland Empire should start going live soon too.

How do we find the location of the accepted sites? Are they in the sponsors section?
