Earlier this year when our 3G was bad in Toledo there was one tower broadcasting 1x800. I was able to get usable signal 10 miles away from the tower. The tower was active for about a week and then I have not connected to it again since (even forcing 1x800 checking). @stuckinohio1: Do you have signalcheck pro? There is a feature to export logs of connections (pro only?). It will export on your phone to /root/signalcheck/(date)(cdma/lte)-sites.csv Could you look through file and find the rows with a 1 in the second to last column and post the address in the last column (Tower address) or attach the file in a pm? note: file may contain sensitive locations (i.e. home address in form of gps coordinates for safety you could delete everything before provider i.e. "Sprint")

FYI the locations at least for legacy (not sure about all NV) were offset from the towers by a few blocks. The locations used on the sponsor maps are to the actual towers. Also it seems that there is work going on in Toledo market. I have been all over this morning and it seems there is no data from any tower at the moment. My phone is also only getting 1x from Michigan right now.

I picked this charger up a while ago and it works great in my car. I can run sensorly and my phone will actually charge. There are a couple models that support different phones but they are interchangeable. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/micro-usb-vehicle-charger/9744043.p?id=1219035078234&skuId=9744043&st=categoryid$abcat0811007&cp=1&lp=9

Going to take a try at answering this but I may be wrong. 1.Only CDMA 1X transmits location. The developer for that app is mikejeep on this site S4GRU. The pro version gives an id but does not give a location. http://www.bluelinepc.com/signalcheck/help/#locations 2. Voice and Data could be from the same tower but this is not a requirement. 3. Not sure on the signal difference. Could be many different factors. Towers, Antennas, Tilt, Frequency... 4. If the BID is changing that means your going from one base station to another. This could be because of signals dropping below a threshold and your phone finding a new tower. It is normal but should not be extremely excessive to the point you drop calls or have bad service. edit: If you have a really high bid show up around 40,000 or (xAF--) show up that may be another issue.

Based on what I have written down for these towers. Ketukkee Trail is the one behind Meijer. Waldorf is over by I-280 Rudy's is actually the 514 (hex 202) The last one has got me. That is a new 3G site for around here. Guess I really need to check that site Ryan asked me to a week ago and have been busy. edit: I spend a lot of time in this area so these are the towers I have the most data for.
