  1. Western Towers was also the company working on the tower at Lake Underhill and Huckleberry Finn Dr., near BJs/Lowes and the fire station a few weeks ago. Maybe all those towers will be turned on around the same time.
  2. I don't want to make a big deal out of it but if you look in my original post, there is a link to the county's permitting website. Enter any of those permit numbers in the search field and you will see the tower ID listed under the "People Details" section. I will refrain from posting IDs in the future if that is what the site owners want but I don't see what the big deal is with the ID number unless there is some sort of agreement between Sprint and this web site to not publish those.
  3. Site ID and tower/antenna owner information is freely available outside this site. Sprint/Ericsson puts it in their permit application.
  4. I saw workers at a tower on Lake Underhill between BJs and the fire station this afternoon. According to AntennaSearch.com, this is a Nextel tower. The guys had antenna panels in their hands and there were a couple of lines hanging from the tower. Associated permit #'s: B12903608 B12903411 B12902931 https://fasttrack.oc...archPermits.jsp
  5. There is apparently a newly upgraded tower on McCulloch. Does anyone with mapping functionality live/work out there? I am also interested in seeing how the Curry Ford area (from Alafaya to Dean Rd) looks as far as signal strength. I am waiting for the Galaxy S4 to come out then I will happily map away on new areas. Thanks!
  6. Here is the link to the press release in question. It seems originally it had Orlando listed but now it does not. I think the point is moot since we are obviously getting LTE now. http://newsroom.sprint.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=2382
  7. The Orange County web site has a page where you can search for permits by address. https://fasttrack.ocfl.net/PublicPortal/OC/SearchPermits.jsp
  8. A friend was able to pick up 4G at Research Park today for a little while. It is not mapped on Sensorly yet. Does anyone frequent that area that could map it?
  9. Thanks to whoever is running around mapping with Sensorly. The map has just blown up along south Alafaya. Could you please map a little ways down Curry Ford?
  10. I wonder how far into UCF/Research Park the signal will reach. There are a couple of towers inside the campus so I would assume probably not too far but it should be good for that area of University Blvd.
