  1. You could be correct, I have not checked the Sprint site in a while, I generally check here and Sensorly. If a lot of sites HAVE been done, I hope they flip the switch soon, BC checking that out, 2 towers close to me have gotten upgrades. I guess time will tell. It is slowly growing here, I am just impatient being white close to LTE sightings, but just a little bit out of reach :(

  2. I hope it spreads over towards Sanford/Lake Mary soon.. Soo close to Oviedo, but we shall see. Coverage is getting better daily, but 3G speeds are HORRENDOUS in the Lake Mary area.. I dont get more than .3 down .1 up =/ so I use wifi almost whenever I can.. Hell when I am in Seminole Mall, it takes forever for me to be able to load a webpage on my phone when I have full bars, good voice connection, terrible data connection

  3. That is a good point, I could see it being city permits. It could also be backhaul, but you would think Sprint would want to get it to the main city of the market, before it gets other smaller cities, but that is just me. I just hope that the coverage really starts to grow more and more soon.

  4. Oviedo seems to be getting a LOT of love according to sensorly (man, i wish i lived out that way) I REALLY hope it starts heading west soon..when I pull up sensorly, I am like 2 miles away from the closest reported sighting. Since LTE has actually started coming to the area, I have changed my phone from CDMA to LTE/CDMA do I need to toggle Airplane mode? Or when it comes my way, will it auto switch. When I was trying it over in Oviedo, I was toggling, Airplane Mode because according to Sensorly I was SUPPOSE to be getting it, but wasn't at times, then started toggling, and had no problems. Anyone else have this problem?

  5. Something I noticed when I was using the Open Signal app a little while ago, the two towers near my neighborhood are registering as having active Sprint LTE, yet there is no coverage anywhere except within the immediate area of the tower so I'm under the assumption they aren't broadcasting yet.

This too has happened to me over in Lake Mary, a couple of my towers are registering as LTE, but I am not yet getting it, hopefully they are just doing a couple of small things, then it will be switched on! I have been waiting for it to be by me, I drive to Oviedo to test the speeds and can not WAIT for it to be near me, its going to be FANTASTIC

  6. Looks like Melbourne got a new tower of LTE, based off Sensorly! I'm up in Lake Mary now too and hope for NV soon; however, I am seeing 3G speeds of 1Mbps where in October I was at 0.1Mbps.

Where about in LM are up getting that? I'm only getting .1-.3 on 3G =/ and I'm by SCC

  7.

Here's the speedtest, the server I connected with was Cocoa which was the closest to the area (about 60miles away). There was a BrightHouse server at one time that you could use but that isn't available anymore for some reason. I've been checking it now and its dropped considerably since this afternoon.

Damn. I get like .4mb down .1up here in Lake Mary... Hopefully the Oviedo market will start spreading the way!

  8. Did you like that place? I was going to book there earlier this year but I couldn't break down and spend the cash.

Gaylord Palms is really freaking nice. MLG is usually there when it coems to Orlando, and the Hotel is amazing... restraunts, shops, all sorts of things.

  9. I hope they turn the LTE switch on soon! I swaped my s2 for an s3 thinking it would be able to sue 4G until LTE came out, but did not research enough (my mistake) now I am just hoping that LTE comes SOON! I would love to see it start turning on at the start of the year. The tower by my house I saw them doing work to it, but they just started yesterday (heathrow/lake mary area) so we will see.. I hope it comes soooon!!!!!
