  1. That sounds very exciting, hopefully it will trickle west down I4 towards Altamonte and also on 436 it will keep coming north west into Altamonte from by Casselberry....

Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

There is a tower by exit 94 being worked on

  2. Picked up a Signal for about 2 minutes today in Lake Mary. Lake Mary Blvd / I-4.. I didnt notice it, then when I went to turn On Sensorly to try and map it, it was gone. But this is a good sign that Lake Mary MIGHT be coming on soon. Figured I would share because I for one am SUPER excited!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :tu:

  3. thank you!!! I cant wait till it comes towards Sanford/Lake Mary

Its in Sanford a LITTLE bit, 417 & LM Blvd, and also shows a dot near 25th street. But I too am hoping that it comes this way soon. On I4 I saw some work being done right around Exit 94, and from what I have read, the towers have ~10 mile range, so I am hoping that will cover get parts of Lake Mary. The tower is quite tall, and is a Sprint tower for sure, and could see workers at it today around 2pm, so I am HOPING that it comes live soon.

  4. can anybody map it? cause I downloaded Sensorly or do you have to be a sponsor.

Just go to the Google Play Store, seach "Sensorly" and you can download it for free (androids). On iPhones, I am going to assume the appstore, or whatever it is called and can download it as well. With iPhones, you can see where LTE has been, but you are unable to plot (map) LTE locations. It is a FREE app, and is really quite useful, and in my opinion a MUST have with LTE growing in the CFL area.

  5. I've been getting lots of 4g lately. The spread is nice. Also 3g speeds have been very good. Around 1.5-2.1mbps. Also did more speed tests in Avalon tower and the best I got was 24.5mbps down and 8.9mbps up. Can't wait for the dean rd. And curry ford rd. Tower to get turned on. I'll be set then. Also people who are reporting the Avalon tower was down is not correct I haven't been to that area and not gotten lte there. I'm there a lot.

3G in Lake Mary is still quite awful, but with it being in parts of Sanford/Altamonte Springs, I see it coming this way soon. Just gotta keep them fingers crossed!

  6. sprint needs to bring the group down from Chicago to Orlando. Chicago is close to being 100% :) wishful thinking I know super excited to see orlando starting to fill out in the corners now it just need to move a tiny bit closer.

It is getting bigger thats for sure!!! I am excited to see it happen!

  7. Wow, checked out Sensorly for the first time in a few days, there is a LOT more LTE coverage. Almost all of Ovideo is covered, its spreading into Altamonte Springs as well, and some parts of Sanford! Awesome words guys! Keep mapping when you can, once it comes to my neck of the woods imma walk/ride bike all around town to map as much as I can.

  8. There is no order to which sites are being activated for LTE. They are simply readying each site as it becomes ready. Where the next one will be is anyone's guess, as they are not deploying by population, usage or anything like that. Once a site is ready to be upgraded (ie. backhaul, permits, equipment in place, teams in place) they jump on it.

Oh I know, I am just hoping that it comes towards Lake Mary soon. I know they dont do it based on population. They need permits, etc.

I wish I could find someone wanting to do a straight up trade..

My EVOLTE is rooted so it doesn't have any of the JB issues the stock phones do since there are Sense based ROMs that fixed most of the bugs. That said, I'd love to switch up for an S3 but it looks like even if I were to sell the phone I would get like $175 for it vs people getting a lot more for S3s.

Wow, I thought I saw them going for more just recently. I know S3s were going for $300, I figured the EVO would get $250

  10.

Yeah, I am in the process of trying to replace my EVOLTE with a GS3 but it is a PITA trying to find good ones for sale on Craigslist.

When I bought my S3, I saw a lot of people wanting to trade for EVOs and vice versa. Kind of odd no one wants to trade now. At the least, you should be able to sell it and buy an S3 with it, or spend a little extra and get a Note 2. Guess depends on what your trying to spend to get a decent one (I've seen them for around $300).

I sure hope LTE coverage shows up soon for Sprint's sake. If not I'm jumping ship. I've decided I'll give Sprint until my contract is up (September) to bring LTE to my area and the surrounding areas. Unlimited 3G doesn't really mean a thing at these speeds.

I can agree with that. If I did not tether ALOT I'd be switching soon. That and I pay $45/month for unlimited everything (past sprint employee) I have been using my s2 more lately for wimax till LTE comes.. every month my bills ****** up from switching between3 phones and insurance prices lol. But unlimited 3G ain't that great... I'd take 3gb on att, but I pay next to little

  12. Just drove down Lake Underhill, granted it is probably the area with faint 4G but it was listed on Sensorly... nada.

I swear I have yet to get 4G in the areas listed on Sensorly. I doubt they turn them off every time I try to go look for it?

    Gonna hit Avalon tomorrow.

I have HEARD of some people with the EVO LTE having some issues, I do not have one to test for myself or I would, and again, these are just things I have heard from people for a site I help run. I was in Oviedo today (on my S3), and was driving all around, on LTE the entire time, man is it a difference from the shitty 3G speeds at the moment!

  13. any LTE in sanford or Lake Mary yet?

In Lake Mary, NO. There have been a FEW sightings in Sanford. Lake Mary Blvd/417 there is LTE, and then around 25th street in Sanford there is some LTE. But NOTHING in Lake Mary, I ride my bike around the town daily looking for sites, I am going to keep doing it, so that when it DOES comes, I can map all areas that I can with Sensorly. Someone stated that they spot them working on a tower near Exit 92, which MIGHT reach some parts of Lake Mary. I have also seen SOME work done on some towers IN Lake Mary (Not 100% sure if they were Sprint or not, but looked like it) and have been on ehrpd for quite a while (to transition from 3G to LTE) so I am staying optimistic that it is coming to Lake Mary soon. Since LTE has hit CFL (really since Oviedo came online) it has been spreading rather quickly.

  14. ehrpd is not an indication of NV upgrades. They're software updates that allow seamless transfer between LTE and 3g. In some markets, they're turned on months ahead of upgrades. All it means is that your market is now in the preliminary stages and they're working on the LTE cores for your area.

Thank you. I was looking at older speedtests, and realized it has been in ehrpd for a while, With LTE growing like wildfire in CFL, I keep hoping that the switch for Lake Mary is coming soon. I am about 2 miles from the closest sighting on Sensorly (Lake Mary Bvld and 417, but from what I understand, that is coming from some Oviedo Towers) so I am just trying to stay optimistic that it is coming soon. The 3G has gotten so bad, that I have started to use a WiMAX phone again until LTE is near me.
