in The Wall
A group blog by The Wall Editors in General
Very good, Robert! I learned a lot from this article. I was told that there were handoff issues between legacy and NV towers but did not know the details.
Funny how this site helps be do my job!

I am thinking about grabbing a Blackberry Playbook for $200. OS 2.0 with Android support makes it a pretty solid device. I cannot see paying $500-600 for a tablet.

Sprint has a new Airave product out that are free to customers with indoor coverage problems

Although I welcome anyone with indoor coverage to call, please do not just get one for grins. If your indoor coverage is good, you will see no benefit and may actually see problems.
Just an FYI.
(Though I am impressed with Robert's sources! Very timely as I just heard about this today. lol)

Austin & Charlotte are scheduled to be in the Second Round of Sprint Network Vision/LTE Deployment in 2012

I am loving the maps! Of course, I cannot tell customers anything that is not officially released by Sprint. But I sure love the information you are providing. I hope that it is accurate.
I cannot wait to see the actual deployment maps for "Dallas" to find out whether or not it includes Fort Worth. I would love to dump AT&T DSL if LTE works out since I get a good deal on unlimited data as an employee.

Sprint proclaims new SDC Push-To-Talk Network virtues over iDEN

Two separate networks so coverage depends on where you are.
Nextel DC Coverage:
Sprint DC Coverage
However, after Network Vision, the coverage should be terrific.
And yes, there is a known issue if the Admiral drops to 1XRTT or roaming it will not go back to SDC until rebooted or, I have heard, if you toggle Airplane mode.

Evidently Dan Hesse left his heart in San Francisco...because Sprint 4G Rollout Updates is announcing this as a Network Vision/LTE city for 2012!

SprintNYC...although Network Vision is active in your area, you cannot trust CSR's for the information. We know several Sprint CSR's in these forums and they have not been told anything about when and where Network Vision work is occuring beyond what has been released to the press already.Stay tuned to S4GRU.com for all the latest Network Vision info. And thanks for joining!
I can vouch for that. Sprint is very tight-lipped with its employees. It repeatedly reminds us not speculate.
Sprint reveals more to industry analysts, insiders (as Robert seems to be), and the press than they do with their reps.

Spectrum Analysis Part Two...Sprint and T-Mobile spare PCS spectrum would pair nicely for a LTE Partnership

Is a merger necessary? Can they keep their respective 3G networks and just go together on LTE?
