That's pretty disappointing news. We were pretty optimistic that 2103 would be when we would get 4G down here in Hudson because they had started network upgrades in late 2012 but the upgrades seem to have stalled and I thought it was because of the weather but now it sounds like a resource problem, too many upgrades but not enough manpower and materials or cash to do them. Verizon is now down here with 4G so they would have beaten Sprint with their 4G by over 1 1/2 years if Sprint deploys in 2014. Pathetic and pity the poor customers that Sprint forces to sign new contracts for 4G devices when they can't get 4G in their areas.

I have I use the Sprint 3G as my ISP because I am in a remote area where DSL or cable are not available. I have had it for years so I have an old unlimited data plan. Would you know what Sprint's policy will be for 3G customers with unlimited plans that want to upgrade to 4G? Will they allow them to keep their unlimited plans or force them to the capped data plans if trhey want 4G. I was also wondering if I purchased a 4G card without a plan whether I would be able to access the 4G network without explicitly getting a 4G plan from Sprint and just use my current 3G plan to get 4G service. In my case, data limitations are more important than speed so if I had to make a choice I would keep my 3G service the way it is.
