  1. So this is an issue I've had for many years. I live on the Michigan/Indiana border and frequently travel back and forth between the two states. Northern Indiana is a former iPCS market and my part of West Michigan is a legacy corporate market. When I go back and forth my phone does not hand off to the sites in Indiana and vice versa unless I drive so far out of range that it is forced to. And then it drops the call/data connection.

A few years back I spoke with an iPCS engineer at HoFo who made some tweaks and it worked better for a while, but over the last year or two it's been just as bad as it was before. It's a little better going from Michigan to Indiana than it is from Indiana to Michigan.

Just an annoyance and was curious if anyone had any insight?

Lol tower hand off here is horrible. If by that when your phone switches to a closer tower. If I stay in an area for 5 minutes, I can often switch between 2 towers like crazy and when I'm driving, I don't. Put if I walk the same road, i switch to a closer tower and my service increases. It's really annoying lol No coverage inside, walk out the door and i get 5 bars
  2. It didn't take me too long to download(mediacom broadband), it took literally longer to install it on my SGS3. I have it on my phone and my brother's phone as well. Both of us haven't had any flaws or real noticeable glitches with MC3. In my opinion it runs smoother than the other previous update.

    You used Odin?
  3. I sell phones at Best Buy and its great to show sprint customers my sprint note 2 and show everyone a speed test. I have been with sprint for over 10 year and I am loving life. Just went on a couple of road trips to South Bend and Indy almost LTE on both HWY 30 and I69. To everyone NV is well worth the wait, we in northern IN and the whole IPCS affiliate its been a log wait.

Yes sir. Everywhere now, is nearly 4G in Fort Wayne, I'm so happy. I went from barely being able to do ANYTHING on 3G in town 1 year ago today, to being able to watch full HD on 4G! loven it here :)
  4. One minor change.. Carolina Wireless which shows as native coverage was moved down in priority levels.

0.o. Interesting, lol Thanks for the info :)
  5. I also live in Fort Wayne and my service has greatly improved too! I get similar 4G speeds and my 3G speeds are about .4 -- .8 Mbps. I was going to leave sprint when my contract is up this May, but now with network vision almost done (at least in the city) the coverage and speed rivals verizion!!!

So you know Lutheran off Jefferson, you've noticed theres 4G now. They just turned on 4G in that area and now it's all over.
  6. The 4G around town, i get 3-10MB down. My contract was up in October and well that's when NV was announced for my City. I thought personally, by now. My in home coverage would have changed, I usually get 2 bars lucky if I get 3. The 3G, I used to get like 10-120 KB/s down inside. Sometimes I pick up 4G and sometimes I don't. I used to get it more then i do now.

Hoping within a couple months, something will change.. Lately I've been roaming when I have my airave on. Never had that happen lol. But oh well, I still love sprint lol. EVERYWHERE and i MEAN everywhere, there is 4G now <3. ty
