  1. I like your thought process here. Prices will go up, but at the same time network will get tremendously better within the 1st 12 to 24 months . Do you think unlimited will stick around ? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  2. That is true, but would Softbank have 100 billion to purchase T-MOBILE Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  3. So, your saying Softbank can put up 100 billion to buy them Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  4. T-mobile is valued at 98.4 billion for a purchase. Sprint wouldn't be a buyer they would become the seller and T-mobile would buy Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  5. So, the rebranding is complete.. it now just has to be cleared ? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  6. On this stretch doesn't any other carrier have LTE service ? This is what I have on 800mhz in el paso. Supposedly a guy named William m Holland is holding it and doesn't want to give it up and he can't seem to reach terms with sprint. https://apps.fcc.gov/edocs_public/attachmatch/DA-15-488A1.pdf Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  7. So, then my market is behind 3 phase's. Band 41 which is coming next year. I don't think el paso has any clearwire equipment..so, I hope we launch with 3xca and 8T8r antennas. 2nd phase would be to clear band 26 and roll it out and phase 3 would be small cell deployment. 8. Money will be very important going forward. Just to make modifications to a tower site such as adding band 41, band 26 cost a lot of money a lot and it raises the rent as well. Im all for sprint getting better I like the underdog to win, but it will be tough for sprint to get this going any faster than it is now. There will still be markets that have higher priority then others. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. Well for one: other then the I phone sprint users can't upgrade whenever they would like(without paying a big fee. So, to experience this 30% increased coverage on 2.5 (which is very essential) customers will have to wait quite some times to get this. A lot of sales reps & customer service will use this as an excuse to why your coverage is bad. Oh, that's because you don't have this new tech in your phone you gotta upgrade Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. So, new phones are required for this tech. So, once sprint rolls out 4*4 mimo would we need another device? Once 4*ca is rolled out(which is in the future of course ) will we need another device ? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  11. This is strictly a crown castle deployment. Any carrier is welcomed on these sites. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  12. for example there are very close to each other in would think it would over lap if used for coverage Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  13. But wouldn't small cell be to close if deployed every half of miles. Would it overlap Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  14. Yes, i did read up on that , but the purpose of the small cells are for capacity. Verizon is adding them every half of mile. Which I think sprint will take that same approach. so, I don't think you can fully turn the power on, cause it will cause all kinds of overlapping. It will help fill in some LTE gaps, but coverage will tough since it's 2.5 LTE only Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  15. Yes, but you can't really fill in LTE gaps with small cells it's only used for capacity.. so, macro sites will be needed. I don't think it's saving them any money ether. I think the money they were going to use for a macro sites there just investing it in small cells (which is fine ). In some cities they have a dense enough Marco grid like a new York, but even there they haven't rolled out mobility small cells. Sprint just converted Wimax mini tower over to TD-LTE. I hope they are doing both adding Marco sites and small cells like Verizon is doing Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  16. Just an example: from my house to the nearest sprint tower is a distance of 4.7 miles. If you add 20 small cells between my house I'm sure another Marco sites would have to be added Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  17. I wonder how that would work..sprint has tower spacing issues in a lot of areas Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  18. Ya, but in between those 20 there would have to be a Marco sites located somwhere. Cause you can't make calls from these small cells since they are LTE only. (Just an assumption) Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
