  1. Well I tested out sprint with a note 5. It kept dropping lte last weekend. It was totally up to date with profile and prl. Now that I'm fully on sprint with the iPhone's they haven't had issues. My brother now has the note 5 and hasn't had any issues so maybe it was the tower.. I'm sitting here at home near Hollins and I got band 41. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. My phones work fine... I know it's been spotty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. HD calling? How is that possible without lte? Does Roanoke not have this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. At home I pull down about 3-6. Around the northern side of Roanoke I pull max 10 to 12 but that's the best. I have seen 20 before. I'd like to catch them on the act of working on a tower just to watch [emoji481] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Says LTE is provided by sprint? Is that accurate? I thought it would be ntelos or isnthat shentels work im seeing ? Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  7. I've got Verizon now and the speeds are slow. I'm in Ntelos land now, soon to be shentel. I'd like to switch but I have a 22% discount with vzw. Is there any hidden fees in sprints 50% off plan?? Current plan is 18gb 3 lines for ~280 a month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. So I have a question. How did the nextel buyout work in Ntelos land? There's a crap ton of towers here in Roanoke according to antenna search. Do those still exits and can shentel use them? Or are those true sprint towers that were just switched off and not upgraded due to the contract with Ntelos? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I was in the sprint store outside valley view mall and saw band 41 service. It was very low signal since I was inside. I also couldn't get a speed test. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Seems to be LTE in a lot of areas already. It's slow though. But I don't care. I'm on wifi most of the time. My main concern is make phone calls. And have somewhat consistent signal. Seems like I get fair Verizon coverage everywhere in the city but it's weaker then I remember years ago Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I have Verizon currently but with the "save 50%" deal out right now there's really go question about it. It would have my family about $90-95 a month. I know a few ppl I know have sprint and like it a lot even thought LTE just now came here bc of that awful deal with Ntelos and Ntelos lack of commitment. So I'm pretty sure I'm gonna make the switch. What's y'all thoughts given that Ntelos is on the way out in the area? My thoughts are that if shentel can do it then this area will have better coverage then Verizon or AT&T. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
