  1. We average measurements and give priority to "upper" layers so if we get grey (no LTE) for 6 months and then get 1 reading with LTE, we'll display LTE there. And from there on, it will average out with other "LTE present" signal measurements but ignore the "no LTE" measurements that might come in.
  2. The issue is that LTE is reported as a "telephony network" so we have no way of knowing what the underlying "real" telephony network is. Maps didn't update for the past 12 hours, investigating why. Backlog is "down" to about 2 million pieces of maps to update, it will probably finish over the night as this is peak hour.
  3. Take a look at our "Details" screen, you'll get the signal strength coming from the phone there too
  4. Can you send us an email to contact@sen...ly.com and we'll work on this. We want to start a new beta cycle at the end of the month and now is the time to work on this !
  5. There's no backlog right now so either you're hitting the CDN 24h cache thing (web only) or there's something wrong !
  6. Hi everyone, a couple updates : we're serving the maps through a CDN on the web now. The CDN caches map tiles for 24 h. This is currently only on the web. Have you experienced improved speed over the last 2 weeks ? we've optimized our map updates yet again since this morning. You should see your updates even faster now (minutes); of course, to see them you need to use the Android app. And by the way, there's a little caching there too so to make sure there's no cache involved, exit & restart. Can anyone confirm updates are indeed faster ? Thanks
  7. All maps are now up to date and updating throughout the day http://t.co/hED65RUrP7

  8. If you still don't see your data now, it's quite possible yes. In which case, send an email to contact@sen... with your phone's anonymous id. Clear your browser cache before testing.
  9. CDMA maps are now up-to-date and updating in near real-time. LTE maps are up-to-date including data from 6... http://t.co/LL12aK5sUp

  10. Good news CDMA maps are now up-to-date and updating in near real-time. LTE maps are up-to-date including data from 6 hours ago.
  11. We have one but it's not ready for public consumption as it's a little confusing at the moment. We're working on improving this kind of stuff
  12. The GSM backlog has been processed, most GSM maps are up-to-date at street-level zoom. Other zoom levels... http://t.co/J3rPEMtEPL

  13. Wifi maps are up-to-date on most zoom levels. GSM backlog of data is fully imported and now being drawn. LTE... http://t.co/Z4kE0qXuUv

  14. For landscape mode, you mean in the "Trip" screen right ? Because the map screen already supports it. It would require redisigning the screen to fit in less height, we won't be able to do that soon unfortunately. There's no way to do a night mode with the google maps API right now.
  15. The log jam isn't clear yet. LTE has caught up with data from approx Monday. Then I believe we'll be back to fast update speeds. If e're not we'll increase capacity again (won't require a pause this time, unless there's an issue)
  16. Yes, I want to know if you're still routed to the CDN we tested.
  17. And you're in IL ? What ip do you get when you ping ? Is that not the behavior you were getting last week ?
  18. Did you clear the browser cache ? I changed some Javascript
  19. I think this should be solved although I don't have IE10 to check. Can you report ?
  20. That's an annoying jQuery bug that's confusing your browser with IE6 Really need to fix it, will try to figure out
  21. Great. Are you seeing the maps load faster too even now ? The servers are at full capacity to resolve the bottleneck and I still see the maps loading faster right now.
  22. This should be fixed now, can you give it a try. You might need to clear your browser's cache.
  23. We’ve had reports that our web site is acting bizarrely since we switched servers and had to run off an old... http://t.co/5MdyEZBA0A
