Why are you shocked? Work eventually had to start in the Boca area sometime.

I knew work would start eventually but I know boca has harsh laws to get permits an what not. I thought it would be 2maybe 3 months until work would start. But im glad it finally started. I live in between two towers off 441an once they get upgraded i will be set when ever I leave my house to go to work or when im around my general area. I think the tower off 441 an glades by the best buy will be a ground mount option cause that tower has like 4 other carriers on it besides sprint an its full.

I can tell you that the Sprint panels are at 120' above ground level at this site, and the legacy panel model is RR65-18-02DP. Which look like this: http://www.alphaequipmentcompany.com/equipment/09A/wx/wxrr65-18-02dp.jpg

Thanks a lot robert im going to look at the pics an see which ones are sprints. I know the very bottom rack is tmobile new lte pannels cause I remember I sent u pics about those bottom ones an u said they were the erricsson air pannels or somthin like that lol.

And at&t is the next rack up with the single rrus behind them. So some where near the top is sprints lol

It probably is a Sprint site. I'm not saying that. I'd guess that Sprint is on the bottom, but I just don't know for certain. PM me the Site ID and I can look the site up in the database and I can tell you what elevation the Sprint panels are mounted.

I do believe the second from the top is Verizon, looking at the before and after pics.

I can't tell which one is Sprint. There are no panels visible that look like any Sprint legacy panels around here.

The second from the top, middle panel looks like the narrow beam VZW LTE panels used around here. However, it doesn't look like the connections have been made yet.

That pannel is brand new I thought it was sprint at first but relizes there is no ports so it couldnt be sprint. Here is a better pix from a while ago

From the maps on this site this is a sprint tower. I could get u the numbers from the network vision maps if u want?.

  5. I was talkeb to a tower guy again who was worken on the tower by me cause I noticed a newer pannel an his english was bad but I think he said the guy up the tower was doing work for verizon an I said what about sprint. An he said somthin like sprint an soon. His english was bad. But is verizon doing lte upgrades in south florida?

Ah. I didn't realize that was this tower. Either way, doesn't look like Sprint. Possibly Metro. Don't really know.

I took the pic from a different angle. But the rack im talken about now is the 2nd rack to the top. The only way im gonna find out for sure is on the way to work tomorrow is stop by an see if there is guys working on the tower. There is still rope attached to the tower.

I don't think that is a Sprint panel. Without the connectors and RRUs, pretty sure it's not. I'm going to guess that that is actually T-Mobile... but that's just a guess.

Robert said 2 weeks ago that tmobile was at the bottom. Remember me posting pics about new pannels not too long ago? But I think maybe u right cause i cant see any connectors ethier but I was thinking maybe there is a cover piece? Maye the white pannel on the 2nd to top rack is metro?

  8. Just noticed a new white pannel on a tower by me. This tower is already being upgraded by tmobile but j noticed a white pannel in betwewn two skinny white pannels. an this pannel was not there 2 weeks ago.

The pannel im talken about is right below the cylinder ones at the very top. The one cylinder pannels are verizon if I am not mistaken then there is a rack below that one with a new white pannels which I am hoping is sprint an below that is at&t an below that is tmobiles new pannels. The funny thing about the new white pannel is if u look close u cannot see any ports at the bottom of the pannel for some reason. Can anyone explain that?

Thats a pic from 2weeks ago an u can see the pannels is not there. So im hoping the new pannel that I took pictures of is sprint if anyone can chime in thank u in advance

Based on the fact that it says *replace* antennas and equipment or cabinets, I would be willing to bet that this is Sprint work you're looking at here. Good news!

I hope so. If tmobile is doing work then could be to. Im going to drive to the towers an see what I can find. One of the towers is on a building so I wont be able to see pannels right?

  10.

Both are working for Ericsson on the Sprint deployment. Network Vision permits typically say something like, "replace 6 or 9 antennas with 3 antennas and new cabinets" or something similar. Tmo permits usually just say add 3 antennas.

Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk

Oo ok. Well I went back and looked at the permits an they said this exactly.

Modify existing tower an ground equipment.

Replace antennas and equipment on existing building

Replace antennas and cabinets on existing tower.

So maybe this is not sprint or tmobile? Since it does not specifically say a number of pannels?

  11. I looked up tower permits in my area for the month of january cause thats the latest the city website has an I saw applied permits for my city for cell towers an the descriptions on them said replace antennas an equipment on existing towers. An some others mention about cabinets an what not. But the contractors were goff communications and westower communications. How do I know if thats tmobile or sprint upgrading the tower? Is my only option going to those towers my self? Is anyone familiar with the contractors?
