There are less sites in PBC. I went through and did a quick take off of cherry picked existing sites that could be used to give substantial coverage. I needed a little less in PBC than Broward or Dade.

I got a question for u. If u look at sensorly an i noticed lte popping up in pompano an parts of deerfeild I'm just a little north an west of the lte like about 25 min north in the west part of boca. Do u think it is possible lte could pop up closer to me in the next few weeks? I looked at a few towers an did not notice any changes to them. So I'm kinda curious if there is any work going on in boca. I am getting ehrpd which i guess is a good sign

Since west palm beach only needs 15 to launch is that cause west palm a small market or cause the towers have lots of range

Just called sprint an they said by the end of november boca an delray will have lte. I hope the guy is not bullshitting cause i got lte in pompano an it was fast

 

 

I don't see any NV panels. It appears to me the top rack is Sprint. Picking out legacy panels can be tough. Lots of different vendors and different generations of gear out there make for a lot of legacy panel variation. However, NV panels are much easier to spot.

Thanks robert. I have seen lte getting closer to me now there is some spots in pompano beach an deerfeild so its only a matter of time. Plus I'm on ehrpd so that is a positive. An by the way my friend did get wimax on his old evo he got 10 mbps down average. I think it might have been from this tower. We did the speed test when we were coming up on the tower

An how can i tell which pannels are sprints? Also my friend got a good wimax connection on his old evo idk if it came from this tower

 

 

Yes, I can see it on Sensorly now. Hopefully some of our members will get out and wardrive that area soon so we can see the extent of the coverage from that site.

My next day off i will cause that's kinda close to me. About time it got closer

i am really dissapointed that in this weeks update there were no towers excepted in westpalm beach boynton or boca raton... but there is always next week update to look foward too. maybe there will be more then 2 in the miami westpalm market. i would hope to see like 10-15 but that does not seem possible. an a december launch for my market seems less likley now

does any one know of any towers being worked on in the boca raton area

That may sound like a long time but if that what's they're saying then expect 60-90 days before an official announcement. We've all seen activity down south but I've yet to see anything in West Plam down into Boca Raton.

 

 

Well they sure do need it! I'm waiting on LTE in West Palm before I pull the trigger on a Note II.. No SVDO for 3G but it does support SVLTE. If we don't go live soon OR news breaks on the CDMA HTC J variant (currently Verizon exclusive DNA) then I'll just continue enjoying my E4GLTE.

yea i know man. i have checked few towers so far an the only thing i have noticed is att an verizon are upgraded on those towers lol. but i am hoping for december to atleast start seeing lte in some spots that might be a pipe dream

I just got off the phone with sprint an they said within the next 30 to 60 days lte should be live in the west palm beach area. That's soinds like a long time cause i can't stream pandora or youtube with out it buffering lol i jus wanna smash my phone somtimes

Last 2 weekly updates we have seen 4 new sites added each week. Anyone wanna guess how many we will have this Sunday?

My guess we will have 5-8 in florida. Maybe 2 more in miami and 1 more in boynton. Maybe we will see some in jacksonville tampa an ft myers. I hope to see one in boca raton atleast but i have my doubts on that

I just went by another sprint tower by me and I was wondering if this is a sprint 4g lte tower. If u look at the white pannels all the way at the top u can see a modem right behind the pannel there is about 3 pannels like that. This tower is in west boca raton off glades an boca rio road. If u need the tower number i can get it. Can some one confirm this a lte tower

By the way i drove by this tower today from work an noticed some big white pannels onthe tower. I got some pics. In the dim piture if u look close there is a modem behind the pannel all the way on the left. I dont know if it has the equipment for lte on it yet maybe some one can help me out in these pics. Cause i didn't pick up lte being near the tower.

I went to the animated maps an it stops at october 15. May be I'm looking in the wrong place for the miami/west palm market

is there a update today on network vision completed sites? cuase when i look at the maps is says the last update was october 15th. is there a update today?

I think cause sandy is effecting us sprint will suspend work for a couple of days. The weather channel is saying palm beach county can see gusts between 35 to 50mph. But they always over hype shit so i doubt we will have any serious wind speeds. But sprint might have to suspend work for a couple days.

I am patiently waiting in boca raton. Today i had to go for a drug test in coral springs an i watched my phone the whole entire way an no lte from west boca to coral spring. I hope in the next few weeks somthing happens

EHRPD:13 in west boca raton florida. so i was looking at my phone setting and notice ehrpd:13 in my mobile network type. i have a few questions. does that mean lte is coming soon like in a couple of weeks? cause i remember in the miami/west palm forum people were posting about ehrpd in miami an now miami has pockets of lte. so if any one has answers thank you in advanced.

LTE is spreading rather quickly in miami which is good news for the miami west palm market. i live in west boca raton an i just look at my setting an saw ehrpd:13 i wonder if that means LTE is coming in the weeks ahead? or should i not get excited?
