  1. So I drove by the towers in question, the closest one (1.5 miles) to me was transmitting at Band 25 on my first drive by, and then on 26 the next time. I am between the other 2 towers, the one south of me (2.3 miles) was transmitting at Band 41, and while I was near it I got Ping 63, 18.80dl/12.85ul, but about 3 blocks from my house it starts to drop off. The one to my North (2.3 miles) was showing 3G and -92 but kept spinning on the bottom of the page with the word Connecting. I tried to close the phone app by "throwing away the phone card"(old Palm Pre habits die hard) but everytime I tried to run another test it just had a blank Field Test and Connecting on the bottom. I ended up having to turn my phone off/on to get it to clear up. Is there a certain distance that band 41 starts fading? Thanks, Tony
  2. I actually was using the Sprint's website to see what they had to show what they considered my area to be. I take everything they have to say with a grain of salt. I used the interactive map on the sponsor's side to see what they had listed for the towers in my area, that's where I saw that it listed 3G/LTE/4G. I just wanted to know if there was a way to see if B41 was there. I guess I'll "hop" over to those towers because $100 seems to be a bit expensive on a somewhat simple question. Thanks for your help stuckinohio1.
  3. Happy New Year to All! I am in a Spark Turbo Best LTE area but my iPhone 6+ will still cycle to 3G and will still have trouble connecting to LTE w/in my home and outside. I actually have a better time connecting to LTE inside my house rather than outside. I use *3001#123453* and connect to Band 26 with -108 db. What other info should I be looking at? How can you tell if B41 is installed or active on towers? According to the interactive maps, all towers in my area show 3G/800/4G. Before all the NV upgrades, and I had great service but after it seems as if I'm on a fringe zone that gives me enough speed to get me excited that it's finally getting better, but just fizzles out when it drops to 3G and "stalls" when trying load data. I had been on the phone with Sprint antenna techs that did "drive bys" and said that everything is functioning great with the towers in the area. Any info you can provide would be great. Thanks, Tony
  4. So I ended up purchasing the iPhone 6 Plus, and have to say that speeds for data are much better. The phone shows LTE rather than 3G/1x and speeds have gone from .10 to.30 DL speeds to .98 to 2.27 in my area so at least internet is usable when I'm outside my home. Inside my house I've had Ping:152, and 4.60 DL/1.77UL speeds. Pretty darn good, I'm not looking for 20-30 DL speeds just usable data, with the phone not timing out all the time. Thanks for your input, Tony
  5. I have the iPhone 5 and my cell service and data is horrible where I live in the Chicago Burbs. Would upgrading to the 6/6Plus be a great improvement? I'm thinking it should but my house is in the middle of 2 towers and seems to be in a dead spot. I do get 1-2 bars, but my phone cycles through 1x, 3G, LTE continuously and it just kills my battery. I've gone though dan@sprint.com and it was escalated up the chains of command but they said they did drive-bys and the area is getting great reception/data. Thanks, Tony
