Actually just looked back at my history and the work on my tower was started in late September and completed in mid october.So thats actually about 2 months.

Dont hold your breath.The tower across the street from my house has "looked to be finished" for over 6 weeks and I still have seen nothing from it.

Back is killing me today.May skip out of work a couple hours early and go drive by some of the other sites I havnt been by in about 6 weeks.

Tower in Belle Chasse,right past the naval base appears to be done. Not broadcasting,but panels and RRUs are up.

The biggest give away is ropes hanging from the towers to the ground.Thats what they use to hoist up the antennas and RRUs.

I guess I need to go hunting again soon and see if anything is going on.Getting difficult with it getting so dark,so early.Used to make those trips after work.

Just popped in and saw 25 new posts in the New Orleans thread and got super excited.Dang it I thought a tower had to have gone live.

The tower in westwego uses 4 RUUs per panel,so it can vary.

Still nothing turned on at the tower by my house. Work looks to have taken a couple weeks and theyve been wrapped up for almost a month now.I guess they tested while I was at work and turned it back off.

Nice,glad you finally may have a tower to focus on and watch the actual progress. Still nothing from my tower by the house,but I may have to go hunting soon.

Damn never thought about that .Would have been cool to ask the tower crew to plant a Saints flag or something up there.Not that they probably would have been allowed to do that...

And just because they finish work does NOT mean that you will see LTE.The tower by my house (westwego,Ave A) looks to have been completed for over a week now (took about three weeks) and I have seen no LTE and its less than a quarter mile from me.
