  1. I think the Micro SD will be where the SIM slot is for the GSM version. This will be a plus for the phone. I'm curious as well as to how thick it will be with that larger battery. I'm suspending judgement for now. The One X is good looking; the EVO One isn't working for me yet. But I'll wait to see more pics and maybe even do hands-on.

  2. It's just a Sprint/HTC event, so expect the EVO One (or whatever it will be called) which will be the headliner and maybe a mid-level device or the 2012 HTC line-up for Sprint for the rest of the year just for grins & giggles.

  3. Agreed. I'm hoping this is just a mock up. Still a good phone, just looks the same as the other thousand slab phones on the market. I'm hoping they tweak it some more to make it different from the others.

  4. Really?....I run across this over at xda all the time and just don't understand when people complain about the design of the phones....personally rectangle is the only acceptable shape...what else do you want? A starfish shaped phone?

And to me the Samsung GS series phones all look the same from the first to the last......

Just my opinion, but design means different things to different people. Just like a car. Give me something powerful under the hood with a sexy design and you have me. Just like owning a Camero/Mustang v. Ferrari. All three look good and are generally built for speed and handling. Not counting what's in your wallet, but once you plant your butt in one, it comes down to what your most comfortable in.

  5. I thought the E4GT did not photograph well. I thought it looked a little homely and boring in photos. But looking and holding it in person turned me on to the design right away.

Maybe. I liked the renderings of the E4GT and even more in person. I was never really drawn to the EVO, but it just grew on me the longer I had it. IMHO, HTC just needs to get away from the pure rectangle look. I know that many like it, and you can pretty much tell its an HTC at a glance but to me its just getting old. To me the new designs are appealing and fresh.

  6. Here's an interesting article. The iPhone is outselling every other phone from AT&T and Sprint combined. The Apple flock is getting larger.
