Correct. That info came out at the end of February if I remember correctly. It may come up again this summer.

Here's something fresh. Don't know if this is in fact the "Infinity" which was the Transformer replacement or something else? Specs look to be the same except for screen resolution. Don't know if it will have a metal case or not, but going for $100 less than the current transformer.

Still a rumor. I think we'll have to wait until the switch is thrown. IMO, Apple won't authorize the sell until LTE is up & running or enough markets are turned on.

There still may EVO's in the pipeline depending on the outlet, but for Sprint it wasn't enough to maintain sustainability. The phone may be around for a couple of more months somewhere, but it's done overall. I think with it's specs it would barely qualify as a mid-range anymore. It was a good phone and my favorite as well.

Good for the troops. You have to jump through enough hoops when the deployment orders come. On less thing to worry about. Too bad it was AT&T, with all the different things T-Mo is doing with their plans, this would have been an excellent driver for them.

Maybe some truth to the rumors?
recent visit to Sprint's website, we found a curious, unbranded device that looks awfully similar to Samsung's Galaxy Note.http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/10/sprint-website-hints-at-samsung-galaxy-note/

May be a soft launch.
Quote:
"We know the phone is coming soon – it’s already cleared the FCC, and both April 15th and the 22nd have figured prominently in rumors for the long-awaited launch of Google’s flagship Android handset for “the other U.S. CDMA network.”

it wouldn't be a new week without another GSlll rumor, which this thread is all about. If the May 22nd date is true, hopefully it will end all the speculation. It will be good to know what the final rendering/specs will be.

No wonder Sprint likes the EVO brand name.

I came to this site to get educated, and every time I think I'm getting comfortable with the terminology/technology, someone goes and ups the bar. I feel like I'm back in a AP class in school.

Perhaps Clear isn't investing in PM to save cash. Although Sprint signed on to keep the switch on for 3 more years, I don't recall Clear saying it would keep it running at 100%. I guess I have to stop being gullible when reading press releases.

Well, the common folk have to find out someway. It's not like Sprint is keeping anyone in the know.
