  1. LTE site at north east las cruces is offline again. Was only on for about 2 weeks... Wish sensorly would update the maps to show recent activity... What you see for las cruces is not even close to being correct.
  2. Yeah, if the ping was that bad, I wouldn't be getting the up and down results as fast as I was. ill be way more excited if when I go out all of cruces has lte. I don't use cell connection at home of course.
  3. Was on my way home and checking my signal as I pass the tower before my house and LTE popped up on the screen. So finally it is back on the east side of cruces. Haven't gone out to see if the other towers are transmitting but will do that soon. Band 25. I was getting 3up/down and 800 ping on sensorly, but 50ping on ookla. Dismal LTE speeds, but WAY better than 0 3g speeds!
  4. Psh, complaining about slow LTE... No consideration for the 3G"1x"ers. Saw crews working on a couple towers but can't be sure if they were working on tmo( that deployed LTE in 2 weeks) on one tower or putting tmo attennas on the other next to the sprint ones like the previous on the other tower. Hopefully there is some movement in the south
  5. I know I know. It's just that conversation on this thread had died. And I think the 4 people on here that live in my area are too depressed to talk.
  6. So has there been any more activity in this state??? Feels like the south is forgotten. On a seperate note... The last time I noticed the 4g tower near my house getting worked on turned out to be tmo. They have already turned that on in what seemed like less than a month time from install..
  7. I noticed a couple guys working on the sprint tower off highway 70 in north east las cruces. Hopefully that is a good sign, but I've seen them there a few times already with no progress. Of course the workers can adjust antennas all day long but LTE won't be there without CL fiber...
  8. I think until all towers are complete, the answer is always yes lol. I wish cruces would get more than just 1 tower up. At least the one it did activate has a really good range.
  9. I seem to do good with verizon streaming from my wife's phone. You don't even notice them throttling you most of the time so that is what I'm hoping from sprint if not better when I get 4g. The hard part is when I'm playing games. That's where the throttling gets me. So if you are on the unlimited everything, does it state they will throttle also?
  10. Judging by the new stuff mapped in cruces, that must be from the tower on the far west side of town. I'll have to say I'm going to the gym tomorrow and drive all the way over there ;-)
  11. I haven't been home since I noticed the LTE, but it looks like the same tower that was accepted first last time. We will see after I watch 300 with the wife
  12. Had a LTE signal for 2 seconds in cruces. It was a low signal so it might have been some residual signal from El Paso but not likely. I need to drive around after my kids soccer game. Has there been any acceptances in cruces in the last day?
  13. I don't know why IBEZ would really make a difference in when lc gets 4g. If this was the case then El Paso would be in the same boat seeing at how it's 4g crosses the border. If it's just an issue with 800 then I could live without it, as we have been doing anyways. Just seems like people are making excuses for why sprint isn't integrating and updating their network in our state or in places where CL is the main network service provider. Either way, I've been with sprint since 2000 and this is just business as usual. They could care less.
  14. My sponsor status just ended, so I was one. But I didn't see anything about ibez before then. Then again I didn't look in the other forums too much. Once Phoenix and Tucson got LTE the sponsor thread went dead...
  15. Ahh, so the center is for 800. I'll have to look at the other towers and see if they are all the same. I was thinking maybe it was a separate element for the antenna. Either way at least I think all the towers have been upgraded with new equipment in cruces, just need the fiber and someone to find an on switch
  16. Just noticed the upgraded equipment near Walmart off walnut and Walton in cruces. They only have 4/6 plugs connected so not sure why the 2 center plugs wouldn't have connectors or be connected. Didn't have sub 100 ms pings and data was low and hard to get but that is essentially a very busy tower. On a separate note, http://www.engadget.com/2014/03/13/tmobile-lte-expansion/ This might be the reason tmobile is installing fiber.
  17. For now. Anyone want to start betting whether I'll be gone by the time they turn it on?? Leaving March 10th.
  18. I have been seeing crews of workers at that tower since yesterday. Looked like the same people that did the 3G upgrade at Wsmr. No vehicle markings and not enough time to stop and ask the 5 w's. Hopefully they were installing the fiber, but not sure since they were climbing the tower. If they had the equipment upgrade already, not sure what they would be doing up there unless they were working for one of the other carriers.
  19. I've been getting roughly 100 ms pings. I've been getting them since they turned on LTE and then sadly turned it off.
  20. Just curious if there was any change in cruces. The one accepted tower near I live, I hope, was upgraded to fiber so would it have stayed accepted during the upgrade process?
  21. I agree, but I am leaving also for San Francisco/ San Jose. Maybe my wife will actually get a job there since las cruces has plenty skilled workers here so that my wife can't get hired. Did I mention that I got great LTE in that area? I doubt I will see LTE here before I move. Even with the text from sprint.
  22. Funny that you say that since I just started watching Warehouse 13. Any connection???
  23. When they did the 3G upgrade at Wsmr, they had An Ericsson truck there for testing the signal. Not sure if they were part of integration or local to El Paso.
  24. These speeds remind me of when I got my first flip phone with sprint that had Sprint Tv. This awesome free service that you could stream news and music videos and stuff. So what happens next is 5 minutes of buffering for a 30 second video clip... Ironically, things haven't changed much. Happy early new year to you all.
