Not every place is completely covered. They got 80% in the metro area and stopped. There are some big pockets in their lte coverage that are surprising.
That may be true but when you are in the same place for 9hours without 4g kinda sucks. Everyother place is completely covered except there.

The discounts apply to the data portion of the new plans (the $30). Reason being unlimited minute plans can't be discounted. If there's nothing wrong with your current plan, there's no reason to switch. Also, at this point there's no reason to believe that unlimited on the Everything Data plans is going anywhere. If that ever gets hinted at, then there will be a reason to switch.
I agree this is mostly about selling customers things they don't really need. Unlimited landline minutes is something that very few people are actually going to use.

Any improvements for you PR guys?
Today seems OK for me.

Indeed, they should detect the problems on their end. However, if one has the time available, does calling (and escalating past the Tier I support) really hurt anything?
No it does not hurt but I have never seen it make any difference the times I have called.

I usually find calling to be a waste of time. The kinds of problems we are seeing should be detected by their diagnostic software long before we report anything.

I don't know what's going on but something is definitely very broken today everywhere.

I'll bet that getting big upgrade project like this one done in such a corrupt environment is very difficult, time consuming not to mention expensive.

How far can you reliably move large amounts of data with microwave?

Would make sense if stx got it first, they did get their 3g nv equipment installed first not to mention they have less towers and less congestion than stt so I wouldn't be surprised if they get lte turned on first.thats true fact from the tower workers..i dunno if its because st croix is furthest away and they wanna make its all good there..iono..but thats whats happen..stx first..then stt...I KNOW I WAN MY LTE HAHAHA! meen care wa order...and lol @ stj..i hate to go to that place!! unless im on the dock
I doubt the criteria for who gets turned on first has anything to do with this.

I wonder why this area has been so slow to get wrapped up. I can see all those incomplete towers in the sponsors map.

San Juan is still missing several towers. Looking at the map I would say it's about 70 percent completed. Pretty soon we're going to need to find something new to b**** and moan about.

I'm still keeping an eye on the map for certain areas in Guaynabo to get completed. They're rollout speed has definitely slowed down.LOL, I guess since Puerto Rico is mostly covered now no one wants to post anymore?

Sprint sells it for $99.99if you're switching from another provider.... By bringing your number from the competition. Costco sells it for that price + free accessories to everyone eligible for an upgrade.
Ahhhh.. Great phone!!!!!!

Heads up guys, HTC One with free accessories for $99.99 at Costco (new line or 2yr upgrade)starting today. Going to pick one up as a mothers day gift after I get out of class.
That's basically the same offer you get at sprint.

Netmonitor will show you what site(1x) you are connected. Will not tell you what lte site you are connected.
I thought that on CDMA you only connected to one tower at a time. I guess that does not apply to Lte?

I may have asked this already. Any android app that will show you on a map which cell tower you added connected to? I have tried several that are supposed to do this but none seem very accurate if they work at all.

Why is the nv upgrade giving us better coverage? To me it makes no sense. Better antenas?

No 800mhz in PR anytime soon as have been stated again and again.
Is not being deployed us either just yet. If they have licenses available what makes us so certain? Given the cement in pr, sprint must know it is important. They seem to be taking pr seriously.

More capacity, theoretically higher speeds.
I just hope they implement some 800mhz love in Puerto rico. If the system is smart I would assume it would only give the user that lower frequency when needed.

TDD-LTE 2496MHz-2690MHz
Why would we like to see it deployed down here?

Given how good sprints signal has gotten in the metro area, I suspect they had many towers down prior to the nv upgrade. Maybe they were putting off doing repairs since the overhaul was about to happen and they were falling back on roaming agreementsMy sprint bill arrived today, 3~4months ago I barely used 300mb of monthly data due to terrible network issues. Now i'm averaging around 3~4gb a month of 4g data and 700mb of 3g data according to the bill. <img src='http://s4gru.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
