Just wanted to point out that Pasadena has decent coverage. Surprised i was able to get speeds that high.
Where are you getting them? Not so lucky with my iPhone 5 apparently...

iPhone 5? And what's an Airave?
Yes.

New Sprint customer of 1 day. The online coverage tool (which I probably shouldn't have trusted) told me I'd get the "best" service at my house. Try 1 bar of 1X. Sprint is sending me an Airave. I've never gotten coverage with Verizon, AT&T and now Sprint.
I did speedtests all over the Pasadena area today. Super slow. LTE is welcomed!
Below is 3G btw:

Welp, it's here. The iPhone 5 with LTE. Preorders start September 14.
-
Not entirely true. I've seen pre-orders go live the same day as the announcement. The iPhone 3Gs was that way.
Just based on rumors, I heard the 21st mentioned a lot. But really, who knows?
-
You won't be able to preorder the new iPhone on the 12th. That's just the date it's announced.

That's great news.

Without a link to the map you are looking at, I suspect you are seeing these maps from June 20. They merely showed the sites that were then completed in the L.A. market or were then scheduled for completion in time for a possible September launch of the LA market with a fraction of its total sites complete. That did not include every site in the whole project, which would take longer for ultimate completion.
There are other sponsor-level S4GRU maps -- to which you now lack access -- showing all the sites in the whole project and allowing interactive zooming. Those are essentially all the current Sprint towers, because that is the scope of the Network Vision project.
Thanks for the clarification! I'm one day new here.

Welcome to S4GRU.
Which maps are you looking at, specifically? Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley are certainly covered by the Network Vision project. (Also understand that without sponsor status, you don't have access to all the maps on the site. And some maps only show certain subsets, such as those sites scheduled to be completed during a particular calendar month.)
Looking at projected LTE towers, there aren't many in the SGV.

Looking at the maps, the San Gabriel Valley doesn't look covered at all! I live in Pasadena and I'm a little worried.

The few days after getting my iPhone 5, I constantly dropped to 1X (o). Everything seems to be fixed now, though.
