Its my opinion that the Sprint LTE iPhone will not support TD-LTE on 2600 if it comes out this Fall. And this is based on a Sprint document that says the first LTE 2600 devices will not be on the market until 2013.

Robert, do you know what month or quarter in 2013 we can possibly expect a handset with TD-LTE 2600 support?

The LG Viper is capable, the Galaxy Nexus isn't.

The usual suspects, Leap and Metro. I would throw in CellSouth. I'm almost certain that the FCC and DOJ would like to have 4 nationwide providers so T-Mobile is out.
Despite Deutsche Telekom's assurances to the contrary, I still think that they may be a player for MetroPCS and at&t may very well gobble up Leap; both before Sprint is in a position to make a move. C-Spire (nee CellSouth) makes sense IMO and if USCC and/or ATNI both continue their downward spirals, they may both be looking for a way out too.

Yep, that's what I thought, second half of 2013 for 800MHz LTE. I'm very happy Sprint is actually executing. Their stock should pick up later on this year/beginning of 2013. I expect them to start looking for acquisitions as soon as the stock recovers.
I concur. I just wonder who the most likeliest suspects will be when that time comes...

New Orleans...and believe it or not...Montana.
Robert
Um Robert, Montana isn't a city j/k
But seeing that Sprint doesn't currently have native coverage in the state of Montana, it would seem that they have some coverage expansion in the works, no? Any other brand new future coverage that you can share?

It'd be nice if the LTE successor to the Motorola Photon had world phone capability. With the original Photon and Evo Design being EOL, Sprint's world phone selection is pretty thin, especially compared to Verizon. I guess we'll have to wait and see...
