Wow! Perfect timing for my GS3 to break, I have to wait till tuesday to check if they have GS3's available, thanks to the black friday sale every GS3 was sold and none were available in Sprint's warehouse. Yay! That also means our networks will be more crowded and slower than ever!

Saw sprint workers in Manati yesterday !

LTE in Ponce exploded recently.
Sent from my Super Charged Galaxy Note 2
I think all that coverage is just 1 tower, and now most of Ponce has LTE.

I said it before and ill say it again, I thibk Puerto Rico is going to be the first market to be 100% done. If its not the first it will be the second one. I think Chicago might get done first. Still guys, we are really lucky PR is moving this fast.

Is anyone else here amazed at how much ground one tower covers! Almost half of a city is covered by just one tower! I cant even imagine when every tower in a city is upgraded, that is gonna be amazing!

That's frustrating...we still waiting for some LTE signal in the west side of the island...We were supposed to be the first area with LTE as per Sprint announcement months ago...
Why would they do west side first? They should be doing the most crowded areas first! That is why their first towers with LTE were in the metro area. The more people covered, equals more happy customers!

LTE is being blocked in Rio Hondo, I was very close to the tower (50ft-200ft)with LTE only and my GS3 didnt connect once. Also I went to the Hato Tejas LTE site were they have wimax also and while being less than 200 feet from the tower I was only getting 2-4mbps. I hope their LTE sites dont get slow anytime soon.

The round table format ate hairy spiders when drunk. Its towers became bloated after swallowing a mouthful of baby formula. The baby ate his poisoned barbeque chicken ribs without A1 steak sauce. Fix the chair leg before somebody trips and breaks their sister's glass. It peed shards of LTE droppings from bubbly fermented apples. Doctors gouge the helpless when options appear dangerously silly for perpendicular slicing. Around 2pm there was another explosive diarrhea attack that drove Dan to SMS SoftBank, which viciously countered MetroPCS's audacity to compete. Meanwhile, Mexicans discovered sparkly water of Rio which tasted like rainbows. LightSquared however, beamed sparkly clusters of spectrum

We have found the the iPhone does display LTE signal strength in bars, since it can only use one antenna at a time.
I learn something new everyday here. Thanks for correcting me

I just got LTE in my mothers house in Puerto Nuevo. Just one bar though.
LTE is not measured with bars. You could be connecting to a LTE tower 40 feet from you and be connected to voice to a tower 1 mile away from you and it will only show the voice signal.

mmm no new sites this week..... hope they make it double next week......
It will be! They worked on new sites all of this week, so if they work as hard next week it will be last week plus this week. They are going at a great pace! PR will be done in no time if they keep it up!

if you're in LTE coverage, forces the phone to connect to it, seems to be an issue on the Evo LTE and the Galaxy S3
Shawn, go to the Settings menu, should be the first option.
Not really the case with the GS3, it usually picks it up automatically where the Evo will not get a connection at all. Thats my case with the custom PRL, not sure with the new PRL.
-
i have 25009 prl on my evo lte and it does not connect
Evo LTE does not connect generally unless you are in a area with great signal and or use LTE Only.

Im in Juncos but I can't lock 4g signals. Im stuck in 1xRtt:7.
Must be the tower near carr 30.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Try connecting on LTE only. If it doesnt connect that way then you dont have signal at all.

Digiblur, should I keep your PRL or update it to the latest one?
Im keeping yours unless you tell me to update. If your works, why change it!

I think there are 5 new LTE towers by today. 1 in Rio Hondo, 1 in San Patricio, 1 in Gurabo, new one in Caguas and another in Juncos.

Can I use the Digiblur PRL with my nexus ??
As stated by Robert and Digiblur the Galaxy Nexus has no trouble connecting to foreign PRL's only the Evo and GS3.
The Galaxy Nexus had no problems connecting to LTE with a foreign PRL. Only my GS3 had problems.
Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
That's right... Forgot about that. It was only the S3 and EVO it had an affect on. And it was a qualcomm paper thatbibwas reading about the one record per geo was required for lte to work.

That is actually a more common problem with the EvoLTE than the GS3. The GS3 will pick up a signal way before the Evo, and it will mantain that signal for a lot longer distance. This was all proved by Robert.
