  1. Not sure what i can gleam from that thread other than SNR fluctuation cause interference with tower signal.
  2. Sorry if this has been asked before but is the signal strength a tower transmits constant? I get that internet speeds will fluctuation when there is less or more traffic but what i never understood is the fluctuation of signal strength one receives on their phones. is there a correlation with the two?
  3. I'll confirm when i get home which bands the Samsung S4's get. Here in Fresno, my LG gets band 25 and i really think that's what the Samsung S4's are getting too.
  4. just our phones - does that make a difference? My phone rarely gets 4g (LG FLEX) and the other phones get 4G about 50% of the time.
  5. Thanks. Too bad Sprint didn't ask me where to place their tower. I'm about 2.5 miles away from the tower and i'm sure that moving it 1/2 mile closer would have made a world of difference. I was at my mother's house yesterday who's about 1 mile away from the tower and on band 41 i got 39 mbps speeds yesterday.
  6. We do not have broadband at home as we live too far from U-verse or Comcast and my only source for internet is my phone. So how can you help?
  7. Anybody have experience with signal boost antennas and whether they actually help. i live on the fringe of the 4G area in 93631. Our Samsung S4 phones will have LTE sevice for most of the time (band 26) but my LG Flex will rarely get any 4G at home.
  8. Holy Grail!!!..........I know I will have passed on because I don't ever expect to see that in my lifetime!
  9. I got 22.10 mbps and 13.75 mbps but since then it's been a total dog with connecting most of the time to 3G. I blame the poor air quality .
  10. I wish i knew at the time (i know now) how to take a screen when band 41 was on the hidden menu. The speed was pretty fast and i know think when its hitting those crazy 17 mpbs it must be on that bad. As i have mentioned in the past, i hiy those speeds occasionly about once every 10 days or so.
  11. Band 41 will be my white rhino for now as it seems to be hiding right now. I got band 41 while waiting to pick up my son from school which is about a mile away from the tower. I am now further away at home which is about 2.5 miles away and signal strength drops a lot.
  12. Since yesterday, speeds have been decent between 2-4 mbps in Kingsburg and in Fresno downtown where I work, i'm getting 2-3 mbps now. Did something happen? Did we lose more users which increase available bandwidth
  13. you can't expect me to read all the way to the bottom of the post where it says in large letters that it doesn't apply to tri-band phones, etc. You're expecting too much from your audience
  14. Can i suggest something about not for Tri-band phones or does it already say that and i just didn't pay attention....again
  15. Seems like it should be unpinned unless it's still useful for other reason otherwise it will confuse newbies like me.
