I wouldn't donate randomly if I were you.
Sprint sponsor status expires 6 months after last donation and you can donate min $5.
Wait until your 6months is up and then donate >= $5
Premier sponsorships never expire and sometimes they have deals where you don't need $100 to get it; I got mine for $60.
Can I build up enough donations over a period of time to become a Premier or would I have to drop $100 in one donation?

No harm, no foul. And welcome to sponsor status nmartine3! Received a donation for you this morning.
I think my first donation went through. $5 isn't much, but it's a start I guess.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd like to see a newer model of the Samsung Galaxy Mega. A model with a 6.5 inch, 2560x1440p resolution, 3GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, 4,600 mAh battery, USB 3.0, the latest cpu and gpu.

I noticed Band 41 while near Rotary Park, probably from the tower near my moms house, as that's where I was headed earlier. Seems as though Band 41 is starting to reach further and further now. Hopefully the same as Band 25 with the 9,000 tower expansion some day.

Not bad, per se, but not good either.
He's been a helpful contributor to the forum; perhaps sponsorship might encourage additional reports. Because I'm grateful for the community and info available on S4GRU, I'm willing to help out a bit. Hope that doesn't offend anyone.
Thank you very much, much appreciated.

How would such a donation, to you, benefit this thread?

I wasn't saying for someone to donate to me, but to donate to the forum, so that I could become a sponsor. If they accepted Amazon gift card money, I'll donate.

Is there any other way, other than PayPal to make a donation? I have some money in my Amazon.

Not all sites are included on that page, and B41 upgrades are not noted. As upgrades pass a certain number of months old, they fall off that map.
Also, this site lives off of Sponsor donations. It is the generous nature of our members that keeps the lights on and ad free.
Well, if someone wants to be generous, they could cover a donation on my behalf.

Why don't you at least become a sponsor for $5 so you can see where towers are?

Because Sprint has a part of their website where their towers can be seen, the updates, and where they are, for free. http://network.sprint.com/index.html
Why pay? Plus I live paycheck to paycheck.

Thanks for your reports!

You're very welcome.

Don't know if anyone has noticed, but I got Band 41 LTE at the Westland Mall this past weekend.

I'm going to be in the area in a week. What can I expect in terms of data quality? I ask because I spend a lot of time on Netflix and YouTube.

I recently noticed that I get Band 41 at my house, but only after turning my phone on, from having it off. But, it switches me back over to Band 25, and am wondering why it doesn't stay connected. Weirdly enough, I actually live within about a mile, of three cell towers. I know the one has Band 41, which is at 6 Mile and Middlebelt, the two Band 25 towers, one at 7 Mile and Middlebelt, the other located at Redford Union High School. Any indication, as to why my phone doesn't stay connected to Band 41?

Seems like any and all advancement, in, and around Livonia have stopped. What's up, what's going on?
-
I used to get Band 41 in, and around my moms house, but I don't anymore. Anyone know what the problem could be?
-
Got Band 41 near the GM plant in Hamtramck.

I definitely plan on giving as much information as possible while I'm up there. I'll be posting it in the West forum seeing as that area is in the western part of Michigan. I might post here, just to let everyone here now as well. I'll do my best to get around up there.

Ch51 thing is that 700a block is right next to ch51 and interference would happen if 700a lte was broadcast within a certain distance.
Ibez thing is that Canada and Mexico have not yet reconfigured their 800 band to match USA
Because there are no conflicts in whatever particular bands you are referring to.
Entities in Canada and Mexico (and some US markets) are still using the 800 MHz frequencies that Sprint is deploying on, so those entities have to finish rebanding before Sprint can use them nearby. It's a (slow) process that was started a long time ago, and was originally expected to be finished by now.

Thank you both. I hope IBEZ and Channel 51 get sorted out pretty soon.
-
No canada = no ibez
Why is it that AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless able to have 700 Mhrz? Is the IBEZ thing similar to the Channel 51 thing?

Blame the generals who lost war of 1812.
Hahaha, what?

The site on M-59 east of 23 just had B41 go live last week. It was about a 2 week turnaround after the antennas went up. B41 in Hartland went live back in October I believe.
I've been trying get people to let me know what's going on around Traverse City/Williamsburg, because I'll be there next week and I wouldn't want to report on anything others have already reported on. Anything?
-
Too bad you're not premier. You'd see the schedule maps and metro Detroit being lit up with b41 pins.
Maybe you or somebody else could help me become a "premier". There are still a lot of work Sprint needs to do, they've got a long ways to go. Really wish it was Band 26 instead of Band 41, only because I barely get Band 25 at my house.
-
Anyone see b41 sites around Telegraph and I-696?
I've been by there a few times in the past week, nothing coming up.
-
In Ann Arbor at I-94 and Jackson Road I got about 20 down and 14 up on B41. I'll be testing more Ann Arbor later this week hopefully.
Glad to see AA is lighting up fairly well.

I was at the U.S. Post Office, on Merriman and Plymouth, and picked up Band 41, with speeds of near 20 Mbps.
