  1. I actually kind of hate the redesign right now. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but I have to re-learn where everything is. I do like the correct scaling though. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  2. Dang, jumped the gun I guess. Ah well, I got mine in September so now my upgrade date is slated in the same month as new releases. I'm ok with that. (Also on easy pay because best buy wasn't doing the lease at the time) Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  3. I actually cancelled my order and found my phone at a Best Buy, because of the delay. While the delay isn't the carriers' faults I did find it pretty silly that the phone was available for walk ins but not available for those that preordered. Apple's fulfilment of these phones is a little confusing, to say the least. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  4. They aren't blurry at all in my experience - just big. Here's a screenshot of Tapatalk from what I'm doing now: Here's a screenshot from a properly scaled app: See what I mean? Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  5. It's BIG. To the point where my iPad gets little use anymore. The battery is great. I regularly get 10-12 hours of usage out of it and standby is phenomenal. The camera is very handy, because it's such a large device taking pics one handed needs the extra stabilisation. Con: many apps still look weird on it (scaling), and interestingly when apps update to accommodate the larger size they look funny at first, because you get used to the scaled look, heh. 6. I'm sure this has been brought up but I find it stupid that the Target app accepts apple pay but the stores don't. Too bad they don't let you shop for everything they have in their retail stores through the app for in-store pickup, heh. I can't even personally use apple pay right now (bank's expected to support it in a few weeks) but I still find CurrentC far, FAR too intrusive and if I were to only have that, cards and cash as options I'd use my card 100% of the time anyway. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  7. I actually LOL'd. Again, this crap is why I won't give them my personal information. Its been proven that even swiping my card could be a risk, but getting a new debit card number is a lot less of a hassle than dealing with identity fraud. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  8. I don't see how any other system would ever beat NFC at this stage in the game, considering android devices have had it for a while and with apple's market share screaming at the top of their lungs. I admit it, I downloaded CurrentC just to give it one star. I feel like a brat but hey, there's no way I'm gonna give some weird third party my SSN, date of birth and bank account information. They are out of their minds. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  9. I have heard horror stories about them never even mailing orders to people if you order direct from them. I have a spigen case but I ordered through Amazon, fulfilled by Amazon so I got it in 2 days. Any company that untrustworthy doesn't deserve my money but at least Amazon will take care of me. 10. No bending whatsoever. I have it in my back pocket more often than I should, too. It is in a case at the moment, so I suppose that helps. I love it except for this stupid iOS 8.0.2 random reboot bug. That's pretty annoying. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  11. One time a guy at the Apple Store handed me a new phone for a problem I couldn't replicate in store. They usually go above and beyond; I hope they don't charge you the $322. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  12. I doubled my usage in 2 days after I got my 6+ so I totally understand. I used 1.4 gb until September 25th and by the 27th it was just over 3gb, hahahaha Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  13. I have a spigen air cushion case and a folio case at the moment that I got off of amazon for like $6. Heh. They do the job but I don't like the color of my spigen case - I bought it intending to get a silver phone and ended up with gold so now the colors just look weird together. I'm waiting for lifeproof to come out with their 6+ case. I've had nothing but good experiences with them in the past and want that level of protection with that type of low-profile case. 14. You know, I wasn't excited about the gold at first either. But when I was getting mine they had gold and gray and I prefer the white bezel so I said screw it, I'll get gold because it'll be in a case most of the time anyway so if I don't like it I'll just get an opaque case. The color has grown on me. I still think the antenna lines look better on silver but the gold is subtle enough that it works. And I like the gold detail around the home button. 15. 128gb Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  16. My battery life is pretty variable on my 6+. If I do anything graphics intensive it drains, as expected, and since I haven't even had it a week i pretty much can't put it down, haha (right now it's on the charger). However, with my 5 on a day like today when I have class, it would be dead without an external battery around 3pm (I record lectures during one class and I watch Netflix in the gym), but today when I got home around 4 or so it had 68% battery. I call that a success. (Of course, when I got home I promptly killed it playing games, hahahahaha. Still got 8 hours with 18% left when I plugged it in). 17. Really? Cool. I thought that was just continuity features from phone to Mac and SMS continuity for iPhone/iPad/Mac Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  18. Local to me there's a 128gb space gray at best buy right now. May be worth a call if you're looking at getting one a little faster. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  19. I have the same phone you ordered I got impatient and found it at Best Buy, hahaha. I'm shocked Sprint has updated order times to 2 weeks. Their site ( sprint.com/ship ) still says 4-6 weeks for a 6+ Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  20. It might but I doubt it; however, the Sprint model has more LTE bands than the other model so I'm not sure if the other model would be the right choice for Sprint's network - the other model doesn't have B41, for example. http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/ Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  21. At this time sprint does not unlock iPhone models for domestic use. You can have it unlocked for international use but not for AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  22. Why in the world couldn't they return the phone and sell it back to you through Easy Pay? That seems ludicrous to me. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  23. Heh. It just means someone's tested in that area is all. My hexagons from my tests (that wasn't there before yesterday, so I know it's me) cover my entire neighborhood. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  24. It's an app, RootMetrics. They have a coverage map similar to Sensorly except RootMetrics will actually allow you to add data information to the map from an iPhone. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  25. Thanks, it's lovely to actually use my phone off wifi now and then. Before I moved here I had signal fine on band 25 (used to live north of Dallas, TX) but here there is a lot of 26 and just under 10 miles north of me is the border of the Sprint Spark zone so I should easily see decent signal all over the place now. THIS is why I'm an early adopter of technology. It makes my life easier. Sent from my shiny new iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
