  1. The FCC ULS database still is not back online after server relocation.  So, I cannot write any updates, if necessary, until probably late this week.

The good news is that the FCC OET database has been back online since at least Tuesday, thus the iPhone/iPad reveal today should have authorization filings uploaded this afternoon.  We also expect the 2015 Nexus 5 authorization filings any day now.

    Teaser: Hello Moto (X)?

No, there really is not any reason for this Sprint "UC1" variant to have included band 29 for supplemental downlink carrier aggregation on AT&T.  That capability is already covered on the aforementioned "UC2" variant, which will be the unlocked version, the T-Mobile variant, and/or the AT&T/T-Mobile omnibus variant.

AT&T handset LTE band future proofing is a hot mess right now.  Some AT&T handsets include bands 29/30, some include only one or the other, and some include neither.  The only consistency is inconsistency.  A Sprint variant has no need to get mixed up in that muddle.

  2. To date, most of the FCC OET entries I've seen for Android devices entail the Carrier Aggregation bandwidth/bands supported.  It's too bad Apple did not do that as wel in their filingl.  But I suppose it's to be expected that they would not include data that is not required.

Samsung, LG, and Netgear have been very good in at least listing LTE Carrier Aggregation pairs in FCC docs. However, HTC (a la M8) and Moto (See recent Moto X) are other manufacturers that have not listed LTE CA pairs in their FCC docs.
