That area of Downtown isn't going to get better until tdd and micro cells.  you go out a few blocks and it is good.

If you go to Clear's website you will see that the wimax coverage is great on the riverwalk.  I loved it when I had my org evo and then the 3d.  had great service in Downtown S.A.  The lte is good and getting better.

It might have to do with your location.  Everywhere I go from Austin to San Antonio (Manor are also)  I get great speeds.  What area were you  at when you did the speed test?

right at the H.E.B. it was while i was getting gas. phone rang and i looked at it as i was going to answer. I go through Dripping daily and haven't seen anything since. I also look at the towers daily to look for activity.

I got a 4g signal in Dripping Springs last night. It went away before i could get a speed test.

I will try to keep an eye out in the Austin area. I live west of Austin out 290 towards Fredericksburg. I drive into Bee Caves/ Lake Way area daily for work. I also have special access to a tower that is a couple miles west of Johnson City. It is on my cousin's ranch. They did some work out there about 4 months ago and my speeds have gotten better. There are several t1's that are there now. I'm sure they will need to put microwave on that tower in order to get it to lte standards. I can drive right up to the tower, if I find out they are there working, I'll go and take pictures.....not like they can tell me to get off the property

they say it was storms.. I live in Texas and never lost service. Was in San Antonio all day. I also got a wimax signal inside of the military hospital where i used to get none. I was one bar and pulled down almost 4512kbps. I was impressed with that soi did a test on 3g and pulled down 1975kbps. So i would say network vision is a huge improvement in S.A.
