  1. I got word via text of another Perryville site being complete. I am going to try to check it out this week.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get Count Hesse to bite on adding a site in Chester so I'm going to have to choose between Big Red and the Death Star.

In completely unrelated news VZW is buying the Farmington, MO market (CMA516) off USCC. I guess Sprint didn't want that one off USCC.

Both sites in Perryville are 3G accepted. The site North of Perryville off PCR 838 has the fastest 3G data I have ever witnessed.

  2.

My daily driver is down for repairs so I'm driving my gas guzzler...I won't be joyriding around town looking at towers for a few days but if anything is near my trip to work, let me know and I'll check it out. I take 141 to 44 to 270 to Olive.

Did we ever check out that Hawkins and Meramec Btms site?
The cabinets and panels look to be done. There is fiber to the base of the site but outside the fence. I couldn't see any evidence of them running it to the cabinets. Also there are 3 RRU's per panel at this site.

  3. I've got nothing but the progress that you told me about. Have you notice any more work?

Not at the site that is giving us problems.  It appears all work is complete but backhaul and it is already there for AT&T (you can see where they ran it to the shed).  However there is a microwave on the tower so I was curious if Sprint would be using that.

  4. Tonight after work I went on a Sprint Tower scavenger hunt.  Here are some findings.. Sorta

ST03RW501- Is almost 100% complete.  When I arrived I was greeted by two men who were working inside the cabinets.  One guy said he was installing a T1 to the site (this same guy also said he installed a T1 at the Sikeston MO locations last week) and they expect it to be broadcasting LTE next week.  He worked for a company AAF, that is all I could read on the truck.

ST03RW500 - I was unable to get to this site because of a closed and locked gate.  However it has the fast 3G speeds I have ever witnessed.  post-3983-0-97574200-1369965036_thumb.png

ST33XC019 - Is broadcasting LTE and I must say, I think I was the only one using LTE on that site. I also mapped 587 points on Sensorly for it.post-3983-0-80810700-1369965154_thumb.png

ST03RW503 -  Nothing has changed since my last visit and the same 5 or 6 batteries are still sitting outside.
